Well, my personal opinion is that obviously he wanted them to think that henry did it. And I think that when he went out into the jungle, he actually met the others. And they told him that if he killed ana lucia (because she killed two of them) then they would give him back walt. He killed Libby because he didn't want her to see that he killed her, because she'd tell the other's. So it wasn't really intentionally (poor Hurley!) I know it's kinda stupid, but yeah.. Why do you think he killed her?

this is one of my theories: Micheal met the Others, The Others threatened Micheal, told Micheal to kill Ana-Lucia, then bring some of his people and then i dont know what else but micheal definistaly led them into a trap!

I think he made a deal with the others. And they wanted Ana Lucia dead, and they wanted Henry back. Libby had nothing to do with it, that was a total accident.

I agree with a lot of the people here. I think he did it because he was "accepted" as an other because that was the only way to be with his son. Isn't kind of suspicious the way he coincidentaly appeared from the jungle when Jack and Kate went to make thier deal with the others? I think they made Michael go because Henry failed his mission and nobody would suspect Michael to be an other, so they would trust him.
Of course that doesn't really explain why he framed Henry.

[b00nanah-magik] he killed them to frame henry, to start a war between them, to take out the others, to get walt back. That's a good theory...I always thought he was being blackmailed by the Others or was maybe brainwashed by them. (But I think after tonight, my brainwashed theory will be shot down)

But from last week's previews, Mike was getting injected by something, right? So don't throw away the brainwash theory just yet.
