Character Appearance (Human): Jemma has very long straight dark blond hair with even lighter blond streaks, and piercing green eyes. She can usually be seen with her hair up in a ponytail. Her favorite things to wear is black jeans with holes in the knees, black vest over a white sports bra, the final touch is her black and white sneakers she loves so much. She sometimes wears sleeveless shirts that show off her belly button. She has a butterfly tattoo just above her belly button and the belly ring which is near the tip of the butterflies tail. She also has an eyebrow ring on her left brow.
Character Personality: Jemma can be shy at times especially when it comes to a guy she likes, She's also tomboyish but not a great deal. Her shyness goes away once she gets to know someone and becomes friends with them, But she still blushes when something embarrasses her or someone talks to her to cause this.
Character Bio/History: As a child Jemma had always been interested in learning about animals. Her mom would catch her under her covers with a flashlight reading one of her animal encyclopedias. A little bit later in her young life her parents began to fight with each other a lot, with no end to it. So during the day when fights started, she would head off to a place called Morro Rock, where she would watch the Sea Otters swim and find food, all the while she would sit there feeding peanuts and dog food to the ground squirrels. When her parents got divorced later on she spent a lot of her time at Morro Rock and some other key locations around and near home, because Morro Bay had plenty of wild life. There had been a time when she went hiking with friends, the time they were heading home a mother deer and her babies crossed the road right in front of them. She was thrilled when the deer had looked over at her curiously before disappearing after her little ones.
Nenia is now a young woman, she's trying her best to get along with both her parents, which is hard when they still have fights after all these years. She's now going to the closest collage near to home right now, learning in the field of zoology. She had decided she really wanted to learn more about animals, even maybe work in a zoo and as a vet. She can be found at the Monterey Aquarium in one of the near by cities, watching the sea life there and helping out with the otters.
How Does Character Get to Island: Jemma receives a pamphlet in the mail, this catches her curiosity as she opens it up. What she reads fans the flames of her interest as she sends an answer to the one who sent her the pamphlet, in a few days she finally gets an answer back. In the answer she's told to meet the pilot of a private helicopter at the airport, and that they will take her to her destination. Little does she know that the animals on this island are really people who have been injected with a serum and soon she will be a victim too. Jemma instead of studying the animals she loves, she will be the one studied when she becomes one of the animals she loves to study.
