I have had a mass in my breast for about a year... I didn't think much about it because I have semi-large breasts... I'm between a D and a DD, and I just assmued it was just fatty tissue buildup...

Well. It kinda got big...the mass that is. It is about the size of a small walnut....and so I went to the doctors today and they are sending me to another place to get it ultrasounded to see if it is cancerous or not....

Great! So Now I am worrying that I may have breast cancer or something...

My GYN told me to check for lumps that feel like frozen pees. Like hard. Woman usually have soft tissue in their breasts.

But it's good you went to your doctor. Try to stay positive and not worry to much about it just yet. Don't want to stress yourself out, just incase it is nothing.

You'll be in my thoughts. I hope all goes well.

It could also be a cyst? I had one when I was younger, and it felt like a hard, round lump in my breast. It eventually went away on its own though.

I have fiberocystic breasts....

Just means I am more likely to get cysts...and the lumps are fibrous tissue.
