Meredith and Derek are an emtional rollercoaster in every sence of the word..... and what happened at prom was just gonna end up happening anyways..... sorta like the rollercoaster was coming to a crash. They both have deep feelings for eachother and it was bound to happen. If their feelings for eachother are an actual thing and that thing ends up being called love then the best for both of them.
Emotions change, people change, everything changes. Nothing ever stops.
Meredith isn't a whore or a slut, she's young, she still has a whole lot of mistakes ahead of her. Many that will be bad and some that will be good. How many can say that they've never done anything bad? Not very many. Those who say Meredith is a whore or a slut, are a little harsh and haven't ever really been near the emotions she has dealt with.
If you think about it, what happened to Meredith most likely would've sent many into killing themselves, hating themselves, or becoming angry for the rest of their lives. She really loved him.
The whole George ordeal was Meredith dealing with her feelings, she was in the middle of a war, herself vs herself, when he came in and told her all of that. She was wanting to feel loved, and George was there laying it out for her.
If one of you were friends with someone who was in love with a married man, and you knew that there were feelings in between them, then you would be going for your friend and you wouldn't judge them. Well that is if you are truly there friend.
Perception of the mind is a big thing. Use your perception but don't be blinded by what your feeling. Think straight and later what you were feeling at first will change.
Meredith did what her heart was telling her to do. Not what was between her legs. Words are a pretty but dangerous thing, they can do just about anything to a person. Having sex, making love, screwing..... all in all there the same thing. An act of emotions. It's sad when someone takes that ritual and critizes it for being what it is. An act of emotions.
Sorry if that sounded like a lecture. I'm 16 so many can disregard this if they please. I, myself still have a lot to learn. But I'm learning as I go on in life.

i wonder if "mer and der" weren't forbidden to be together, if they would still want to be. because sometimes that's the main thing attracting people... or at least, in mer-der's case, i think it's making their attraction stronger than it would be otherwise. *shrug* derek definitely should leave addison and just be with mer instead of screwing with mer's head all the time when she's trying to move on. i'd like to see if they would last if they got together.
...god, i hope someone steals your husband away from you someday and feels absolutely no shame about it. how the hell can you say something like that! stare man. well, i suppose if a husband lets himself get flirted with, or even starts something up with another woman, he's as much to blame as the mistress is. i hope if that happens, that he at least has the balls to be a man and leave his wife instead of cheating on her like there's no tomorrow. if the husband and wife still loved each other, then they woudldn't let anyone come between them.

I really don't know what to think of Meredith anymore. She used to be my favorite character but she had sex with derek at the prom and if Mcvet finds out, he's going to be so hurt. I wish she could just make up her mind, I wish both of them could make up their minds.

N-KK Man, I think Derek is at fault. I mean, get over her already! He's just messing with her head because he won't let go of Addison or Meredith so he's all Mc-can't-make-up-his-mind but plays both of them. That's all I will say, because I know you people might just kill me razz hahaha. No, I agree..I see it as Derek's fault also,he doesnt want Meredith, but he also doesnt want Addison. He is just keeping Addison around to drive Meredith crazy..So ya I agree, just let Meredith go and let her get on with her life. Ya can't have both......

paradoxical maicuu really? why? she does so much damage to everyone around her. She said herself that that's her way of recovering from how Derek hurt her. I don't think she really does damage to "everyone" around her, mainly just George. I agree. I love George.

She has been pissing me off the whole 2nd season w/ "trying" to get over Derek.
She needs to:
a. find someone else and never remind herself of Being w/ Derek
or
b. Admit she likes him and do everything in her power to get him
