me and my dad have been debating about a rule. if you play pyromatics and replicate it, would a card like wee dragonauts get the bounes for each time you copyed it.

Seeing that pyromatics is an instant and dragonauts recieves a bonus, each time a spell or instant is played. I'm pretty sure it's possible. If anyone has a valid point oherwise, please, let's compare notes.

MT the Clown

Beloved Lunatic

10,125 Points
  • Bunny Spotter 50
  • Bunny Hunter 100
  • Bunny Hoarder 150

Wee dragonauts states it gets powered up for each Instant or Sorcery PLAYED. Replication only copies the spell, it's the same sense as Storm.

That judge must not have known the rules about it o.o;;

here's a quote from the Saturday Night Magic on the main webpage

"From Guildpact is Upon Us by John Carter, Saturday, January 28, 2006:
Q: If my opponent has Wee Dragonauts and plays Gigadrowse with four replicates, are his Dragonauts 3/3's or 11/3's? --Noah

A: The Wee are 3/3. Replicate copies are not played; they're put directly on the stack

Replicate only puts a copy on the stack; wee Dragonauts only triggers when a spell is played. There is a distinct difference; not a big one, but distinct.
