Me and my dad are debating about a rule. if you use a card like pyromatics and replicated it would a card like Wee Dragonauts get the bonuse for each time pyromatics was copyed

Rawr. A) There's a thread for this in the main forum. B) No, Dragonauts wouldn't get the bonus, because you don't play the spells(and the 'Nauts specifically mention playing), you put them on the stack. So even if you replicated the Pyromatics 27491 times, everyone's favourite fairy(except mine. I like Cloud Sprite) would still only get +2/+0.

Not really. It barely even makes the cut in limited. It's harder to get it to deal a reasonable amount of damage than you'd think, actually.

I dont hate the card in fact I think its cool, what I hate is the COLOR blue with all its counter spells, I use to play in a tourny where everyone played some manner of blue counter deck

Well, before voidslime, type 2 didn't have any hard counters, so soon it will rotate out.

yeah the Wee Dragonauts would only get +2/+0 once.. its a good card for draft.. and yeah it is hard to play with since it is easier to kill now.. well then thats all for now...

Sarjun Kenji_Minamori I think it should I mean, I think each replication count as a new spell on the stack doesnt it it does... but all the replications are together on the stack... Well, they count as new spells on the stack, but they don't trigger playing a spell. Also, they're put on the stack seperately and resolve seperately.

Well, they count as new spells on the stack, but they don't trigger playing a spell. Also, they're put on the stack seperately and resolve seperately. That's right, they are COPIES of a spell, and were not individually played.

WotC answered the same question (just with Gigadrowse), by saying that the copies were just put on the stack, not played.
