i put them in the skin floder and unzipped them and still they won't work

In order to change your skin, you have to open up the Option screen in RO (Alt + O) and then choose the skin you want. o.o; Have you tried that?

Um, you did unzip them into a folder inside the skins folder right?

Like the default skin has it's own folder in the skins folder, each skin you get must be in its own folder. You can't just plop them into the skins folder freely. They won't show up in RO otherwise.

Well, sometimes when you do that, it'll make it's own folder. Usually WinZip or WinRaR are nice enough to do it for you. But if your me, they'll screw you over so you have to make the folder. xd

Yah, it depends on if the person that zipped the files made it so that it would make the folder for you or not. In Winzip, if they did, there'll be the directory and stuff it's going to make and whatnot on the left.

You don't even need to unzip the skin files. Just put the .zip files in the skin folder and it should works fine. I did it like that on my computer and my computer is like already 2 years old.
