Sora was silent as he lead Israel down the hall, the walk a bit chilling as he took the stairs down isntead of the elevator, only then did he say "Sorry.. I have a fear of elevators..." And down the three flights of stairs they went.
On the ground floor he took her to the cafeteria and sat her down at a table. "what would you like? Some tea?"

Israel followed slightly behind Sora, not really paying attention to where he was leading her. When he gently shoved her down into a chair she looked up at him, her eyes red and her cheeks tear stained. "Yes please," she said softly.
Ballie
"Iced or warm?" He asked, reaching down to wipe her cheeks a bit. "For face is flushed, perhaps some iced tea to cool down?"
Ceeda
Israel shook her head no. "Warm please," she said, leaning into his hands. She felt like she was made of ice and needed something warm.
Ballie
"Mm." Sora left for a few minutes, getting Is a warm cup of tea and himself a glass of water and a muffin. He sat down across from her and put the tea down near her.
"I want to know everything that happened, but when you're ready."
"I want to know everything that happened, but when you're ready."
Ceeda
Israel reached out and picked up the mug. She took a small sip and immediately started feeling a bit steadier. Taking another sip she looked over at Sora over the edge of her mug. "What exactly do you want to know? Is starting at the beginning where you want me to start?"
Ballie
"Wherever you think i smost important." Sora said as he continued to watch her.
Ceeda
Israel looked away for a moment and set her tea down on the table. The day had seemed like an eternity and she was having a hard time remembering it all just now. Still, she turned her face back to Sora, but didn't look at him.
"Xel came by because he had some things he wanted to talk about. So we talked and he told me about how he had been diagnosed with a weak heart at birth. It only came up because he wasn't looking very good and he was having pains in his chest. At one point...." she started then stopped, tears rolling down her cheeks again. "At one point he even stopped breathing for a moment. But after a nap he told me that everything was okay so we went out because he wanted some fresh air. We came back and after he dropped me off at my door he went to his. That's when I heard him fall. His heart... His heart stopped and Aine gave him CPR while I called the hospital. They used that awful machine to bring him back... Three times Sora," she said, finally looking up at him. "They had to shock him three times. And... everything else you already know." She finished and looked away again, wiping at her tears.

He sat there and let it all sink in, killing the muffin by tearing it to pieces and letting the crumbs pile on the table. "it's my fault." He said with a frown. "Because I've been cold to him and putting so much stress on him. I shouldn't have been so hard on him.... If I had known..."
Tears were in his eyes once more, the muffin laying in ruin between his hands.

Israel looked up at Sora's words and rose to her feet. She went to his side of the table and knelt down next to him, reaching out to take his hands in hers. "Sorakai... it's not your fault. If it is, then it's just as much mine. He and I have been arguing so much and when he stopped breathing.... I should have made him go to the hospital right then instead of letting him pretend he was fine," she said softly, peering up at him.
Ballie
Sorakai bent foreward to hid his face from Israel, crying once more. "I shouldn't have been so hard on him." He whispered, moving forward as far as he could go to cry against Issy's shoulder.
He stayed like that a good ten minutes before he pulled back, wiping at his eyes. "You heard what I said to him... didn't you?"

Ceeda
Israel held Sora against her and let him cry, rubbing his back gently. When he pulled away she reached up to wipe his tears away, hesitating at his next words. Her eyes flicked to his, then watched her hand gently brush his tears away. "I heard you say a lot of things to him," she said softly, knowing damn well what he had meant.
Ballie
"Don't play stupid with me Israel." He said as he gently tugged her up and nto his lap, wrapping his arms around her waist. He held her pressing his face into her shoulder.
"I told him that I loved him. It's true." He sighed, and tipped his head up to look at her. "Issy, I care for you too.... But you weren't willing to share remember?"

Ceeda
Israel shifted uncomfortably in his lap when he looked up at her. "You're just going to tell me what you've already said. That you wanted me to be happy and that's why you let me go so easily. So I won't bring that point up again. But I told you Sora... that I liked you a lot... maybe even loved you. I said that because I do... love you. But I can't stand feeling jealous when you're with other people, even Xel. Because I know getting jealous will upset you," she said softly.
Ballie
"But you were with Xel yourself were you not? That sparked jealousy in me.... Issy..." he paused, sighing. "I need you...Just as much as Xel... but right now you're the only one that really understands me..."
Ceeda
"I know I was with Xel, but...." she started to exclaim, but stopped when he continued on. He had been jealous? She thought he hadn't cared if she was with other people. She searched his red eyes trying to understand what it was exactly he was trying to tell her. "Then what do you want from me Sora?" she asked softly.
Ballie
"I want to be greedy." He said as he stared into her eyes. "I want you to be with me, but I can't give up on Xel... Specially not now."
Ceeda
"It's not fair to be greedy Sora. If you have our hearts, then what does that leave us with? You can't give us both your whole heart. You've only got one, no matter how big it is," she said softly and leaned in to gently kiss his nose.
Ballie
Sora had a hurt look but nodded. "Mm.. I understand." he said as he looked away in defeat, but continued to hold her there. He went silent and wouldn't you know he fell asleep right there.
Ceeda
Israel recognized right away the even breathing of Sora sleeping. Giving her head a bit of a shake, she was half tempted to join him, but a bed would be much more comfortable than a cafeteria chair. Reaching up she lightly caressed his face and leaned over to kiss him softly on his lips. Emotionally drained, and finally doing what she truly wanted, her hand slipped into his hair and the kiss deepened.
Ballie
The kiss was what woke him, and his eyes slowly cracked open to see Issy's face up close. He returned the kiss just a bit before he pulled away. "Don't give me faulse hope and I won't give you any.." he said lightly. "Come issy... let's go back to the dorms. There's nothing more we can do for Xel now... We both need some rest."
Ceeda
Israel blinked back her disappointment then slowly rose to her feet. She slipped her hand in his, feeling the need to be close to someone right now. They walked to the dorms in silence and Israel led the way up the stairs to the second floor. She started down the hall, but stopped short at Xel's door. She could still see him lying there. She looked up to Sora. "Please... can you stay with me... until I fall asleep?" she asked timidly.
Ballie
Sora frowned, "Come on.." Gently he tugged her hand and lead her to her room. "I'll stay with you anyway, my room isn't done yet and I dont want to sleep in there tonight." He said as he walked, then waited for her to open the door.
Ceeda
Israel dug out her key and quickly unlocked the door. She glanced at Sora over her shoulder and led the way to her bedroom, closing the door behind him. She looked around for a moment then kicked off her shoes. "I'm... going to take a shower. Go ahead and make yourself comfortable," she said gesturing to the bed. She slipped off her over shirt and tossed it onto her desk chair. She started to slip her undershirt off as she went to the bathroom and shut the door with her foot as her shirt came up over her head. He would probably be fast asleep when she got out, she figured, but she really needed a shower to wash away the day.
Ballie
Sora had gone and dug around in her drawer and found a pair of lose shorts, a pair that now became what he was goign to sleep in - Hey he'd wash them later.
When Issy returned he was sitting there and waiting, eyes cast out the window. He turned and looked at her and smiled. "I borrowed some shorts.."

Israel came out in her pajamas, boxer shorts and a t-shirt. She was surprised to find Sora still up as she towel dried her hair. At his comment her eyes swept over him and a small smile tugged at her lips. "I can see that," she said, tossing her towel to a corner. "They look better on you I think," she said as she sat down next to him. She studied him for a moment, then reached up and lightly ran her fingers through his hair. "Are you alright Sora?"
Ballie
Sora shook his head a bit. "No... Everything is happening so fast and is so complicated... Since our break up I haven't slept well." He said, casting his look away. "No worries."
Sighing he shifted to lay down on the bed, opening his arms to her. "Come on... let's go to sleep."

Ceeda
Israel stretched out next to him, pulling the covers over them both as she snuggled into his warmth. She tucked her damp head just under his chin and wrapped her arms tightly around him. She held him for a few moments, her eyes starting to droop and her breathing evening out. "Good night Sora. I..." she started to say, but trailed off as she fell fast asleep.
Ballie
Sora held her contently, glancing down at her while she spoke. He smiled a bit. "I love you.." he whispered when he knew she was asleep and wouldn't hear. Sighing he laid there all night in thought, staring at the ceiling. He was too worried to sleep anymore.
Ceeda
Sometime in the night Israel began to thrash in her sleep. She was having a nightmare. Everything that had happened during the day had stirred up memories she had tried to bury and forget. "No... no!" she cried out, pushing against Sora. She was desperate. She had to get somewhere and people kept holding her back.
Ballie
Sora winced as Issy's fist came in contact with his nose. "********!" He shouted, grabbing his nose and trying to shake her awake. "s**t Issy!" He nose was starting to bleed.
Ceeda
"NO!" she shouted and sat upright, breathing deeply. She was confused and disoriented for a minute then realized she was not alone. She looked over to Sora and frowned when she noticed him cupping his hand under his nose. "Sora? What's wrong?" she asked, shifting to try to see him better in the dark.
Ballie
"Get me a towel Issy.. I think you jsut broke my nose." He said in a snuffy voice as he sat there, keeping his head tilted back a bit as he tried not to bleed on the sheets. "You clocked me good"
Ceeda
At his words she bolted from the bed and ran to get the towel she had used to dry her hair off with. She quickly returned to him and handed it to him, then reached over and turned on her light. Concern was heavy in her eyes as she kneeled in front of him and cradled his head between her hands as she peered down trying to look at his nose. "What happened Sora? What did I do?" she asked.
Ballie
Sora just kept the towel to his nose, eventually the blood starting to stop and he touched his nose delicatly. It didnt' feel broken but she had knonked him just right. "You were threashing and punched me on accident."
Ceeda
Tears welled up in her eyes, but didn't fall. "I'm so sorry. Let me go get some ice," she said softly and got up without waiting for an answer. She went into the kitchen and put together an ice pack. Her nightmare was only vague wisps that were fading quickly. But she had a pretty good idea as to what it had been about. She felt bad that she had him, she thought as she went back into her room. Kneeled next to him again and tilted his head back a little. "I'm so sorry," she apologized again as she gingerly placed the ice on both the bridge of his nose and where she had hit him.
Ballie
"It's ok it's ok." He said as he waved her off, taking the ice and laying down to hold it to his noc egently. "You were asleep and didnt' know." He smiled a bit as best as he could. "Go back to sleep?"
Ceeda
Israel leaned over him and gently made him lift the ice pack away. She looked his nose over. It didn't look like he would have any bruising, but she figured the ice would feel good. She leaned down with the intention to kiss his nose, but changed her mind and kissed cheek near his nose. "Yeah... I guess. If you think you can," she said, looking into his eyes then stretching back out next to him. She reached out and turned her lamp off, then took a deep breath and let it out slowly as she stared up at the black ceiling.
