Out of pure curiosity, Anyone here speak Japanese? A little? Somewhat? No? o_o;
I've been studying Japanese for two years. I just started up again, And I can't wait for my classes to begin. And amazingly, i'm not taking it to read the yaoi comics~ gonk Haha.
I haven't been contributing to this guild as much as I wish to... I'd just like to firstly say thanks, Because even if I don't post, I like coming here. ninja

I wish I knew how to speak Japanese. Or write it. Can't though.
And I can't speak for anyone else, but I enjoy it when you come here. You have the cutest signature I have ever seen.

Ehh, I know how to say random phrases in Japanese, but I can't really speak it fluently. And cannot write anything in the language. Pero, yo hablo Espanol (don't know how to make accents on computers). I also can say a few things in Russian. And a very few words in French.

MaiKun I've ran into many people who know phrases in Japanese. Which is fine, I just wish I wouldn't run into so many 'Watashi wa baka desu!' type people. I took Spanish in my school.. Can't say I was very fond of it. Those verbs, I swear. They're crazy. Russian is neat, I learnt their alphabet a while back. Can't spell/say anything besides my name. sweatdrop I always found Spanish extremely easy. I guess the verbs get confusing when you get into their preterite conjugation tenses.And the pharses I know are a bit different. Things like "Forgiveness is something you'll never know" and like "I'm on fire, prepare to die, you're such a baby, my narcissism is my weakness." And other such things I abosrbed while playing video games (woo DOA3).

Really simple hanji. No, I can't speak Japanese, or read much for that matter. When you ask a child if they want an extra bit of education, the answer is usually no. "Want to take Chinese school, Keith?" "Er... Mayb... Do I have to write essays?" "Yes." "NO!"

I play FFXI and Im always asking the Japanese players how to say certain phrases that are helpful int he game. I wish I had someone to teach me because I dont learn well from those teach yourself kind of books. Neither of the highschools Ive atteded teach it and I can find nothing in my local area.

I tried to learn once. I plan to try again, when I have the time. I knew enough, at my best, to say and read something like, "The white horse jumps over the fence." Maybe I'll take a few classes someday...

School starts in 6 days, and I'll be in year 3... ^^ But in my school thats lame... And you've already heard my poor Japanese... =P
However... I finally got my Verb Conjugations book, particle book, and giant Kanji Dictionary book... So I can get a head start. The problem is that with the Verb and Particle one, most of the things I'll rarely use... I mean... Its hard to remember the hear-say form when I never use it. x_x -Should start writing stuff so he can get the conjugations locked in-
But the Kanji book is fun. ^^ Although... You can find Kanji in it easily if you don't know the Kanji... But you can't just look up a word in English there... At least theres an index for Japanese Pronounciation -> Kanji. ^^
So yeah... I'm still in the stage of learning more conjugations so I can't just say basic sentences... =P Other than that... I'm useless with Japanese. ^^ Although I did find the best word to write in Kanji...

The main reason I like it is because its just the Kanji for Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter. Thought that was cool... Yeah, I'm lame.

I can read and understand some words but most have to have their English spelling like Hamazaki or something otherwise I have no idea what they are. I also can make small sentances and know like two phrases. I'm better at Spanish and German.

I wish there was a more direct English/Kanji one, But I can't seem to get any decent ones. Keep on studying!
