The clinic seemed to be having another of its quiet days. Why was it that it seemed every time he came for a visit there was nobody about? He would have to fix that once he was old enough. He'd been looking around and really one could set up residence. To move out though and live full time in the clinic though would be a big change but it would be putting him closer to his own kind and give him more of a chance to see all of his friends again. The last time that he had been able to see anything it had been him meeting with someone new, An. While that had been nice he really did miss people...
His own fault yes but now that he was getting out and about more... He nodded then set to arranging the books on the shelf so that they were neater, so that they were in a more useful order, then picked up one of the ones that he hadn't read for a while and set it next to his bag. He would bring this one home with him this time. He would have to talk to his mother about his plan, see what she thought of the idea of one of her children leaving home.
It wasn't as if he were the oldest looks wise since he was a kid and Lucien was a teen but he was the oldest time wise. You would think that she would be ready for one of them to be wanting to move out. Though he doubted she would think that he would be the first.
He looked around chewing on his lower lip, he really did like the idea of hiring An on as a cleaning lady for the place. It did need a woman's touch and a girl's touch would be as close to that as he could get. That and from what she had said she sounded like the best one to hire on for that sort of job since it was something she liked to do. If one enjoyed their job they did it better after all.
So then he had himself being able to work here as a healer and he hoped his abilities would grow with him, someone to help clean, and maybe he could find a sort of person that was there to make appointments? Hrmmm... then the clinic would really get going and be open and active and used for what it should be used for.
Instead of a dark set of rooms.

A dark set of rooms that for once, Jan was drawn to. She usually simply went straight to the art rooms in the mansion, but today... She drifted toward the place. She used to come here as a baby and a young, young toddler, to see Yukito... But that was ages ago. He'd disappeared, and she had followed suit.
Guitar strapped to her back, and sunglasses on, Jan once again looked attractive, cool, but rather ambiguous in gender. Who cared? The extremely tall young sin walked into the clinic and looked around the empty room, picking up an old appointment clipboard, and smiling gently at how old all the dates were. Ages ago.
Worlds ago.
Everything had changed since those simple days, and part of her wished it hadn't. But most of her was just fine, and she continued further into the clinic... To see a flash from the past. He looked exactly the same. Her healer. Her friend. Her...
"... Yukito?"
Would he recognize her? It took most people at least a few seconds.

Yukito broke free of his mental tally of ideas and his red eyes flew towards the origin of the voice. Not only was there someone here which seemed rare in and of itself but it was someone that knew him? He looked over at her... him... not her for a long moment, blinked then it clicked. It was the freckles that gave it away in his mind but he almost didn't believe it, "Jani?" He asked, as if wanting to make sure that he was seeing it right.
She'd grown and grown well from the looks of her, she was quite striking in an androgenous sort of way.... not that he could say anything about that. He gave her a smile, "Wow! Is that really you? Its been so long." He murmured, he wanted more then anything else to go over and snuggle on her, to make sure that she was really there and that it wasn't him and all his sighings and thoughts of his missing friends that was making her appear before him.
Did he have a good enough imagination to make a grown her though? He wasn't sure, "I missed you." He said, tail wagging now.

She was silent for a long moment, just staring at him, and his use of her old nickname. Most everyone called her 'Jan' now...
"Y-you..."
Suddenly, her brown eyes filled with tears and she was across the room, squeezing his middle tightly and holding in sobs, voice barely above a whisper but pained.
"... You're still you! The same! Everyone's changed on me... I've changed on me... It's all gone..."
Things had happened to Sjajan Lynn Reever. Things she tried not to remember. She'd definately missed her friends. Or, those she thought were her friends.

Yukito's eyes went wide though he instantly knelt down wrapping his arms around her to hug her tight and his tail wrapped about her waist, "Jani..." He murmured, he had no idea what to say so he just held her, his hand stroking her hair in a soothing sort of way, "Of course I am still the same. I always will be me even if my looks someday change on me." He assured her.
Poor thing, "What is gone Jani?" He asked curiously, maybe it was something that he could help her it find again? He wasn't sure but he just wanted to make her smile again. She had always been the strongest person he knew even though she was younger, had ever stood up to Kilah and called her names. She was amazing and to see her cry was... rather a shock to the dragon child's system.

A few seconds later and the tears were gone as if they had never been, making one wonder how often she'd cried in the past with no one to catch her at it. Drying her face with the back of a hand, Jan rested against her old friend, and gave him a solemn look.
"Who we used ta be."
The way she said 'we' suggested that she was referring to more than just Yukito and herself, and the girl unstrapped her guitar, setting it on one of the counters, before frowning slightly.
"I meant yer soul 'asn't changed. Most o' 'em 'ave different souls."
By 'them' she meant the Sin'Aeis. Including herself.

He nodded, "I feel at times as if there is something that is tugging at me. I am trying my best to rise about it though." He didn't want to be what he'd seen in his dreams, he wanted to be himself. He wanted to be Yukito and stay Yukito, he gave her a smile, "I though despite what we want change is something that people have to get used too. Its always present in life after all though... not that I am not in the biggest hurry."
After all growing and changing meant taking on new responsibilities that were rather above him at the moment.
He gave a little sigh then, "I... wouldn't know much about the others. I've only see one of ther Sin'aeis for a long while, someone I hadn't even met before until that moment. I have been rather reclusive since winter started."

"I 'ave 'voided most o' 'em 'sides Ancelin... I kin never avoid her, an'... An' I'm not sure why."
It bother Jan, sometimes, why she was so loyal to Ancelin. The pheasant sin rarely returned any favors, and was tolerant of Jan at best. Still... Their relationship had changed subtly since they'd grown together, and Sjajan firmly hoped things would get better.
"S'mmer approaches, 'n we kin both git into the rythmn o' things, eh?"
All of a sudden, as rare as it was charming, Jan's large grin appeared on her face and she touched Yukito's arm.
"We'll 'ave some fun, aight? Now, tell me whatcha been up to? My gardens HUGE now. I've got some herbs ya kin use..."

"Yes! Ancelin." He said then gave a back and forth flick of his tail, "She is the one that I met not to long back." So she had grown too then? He would have to make note of that and see if she still wanted a possible clinic job.
"Ahhh. Yes, summer. That is something I have missed. Warm weather, lots of sun, the plants all alive and thriving." Maybe that was part of why he'd been so dormate during the cold months? There really wasn't a whole lot for him to do when it was cold out but mix the herbs he'd been able to collect and hope he had enough potions to see him through.
"Oh?" He gave a smile, "I would love to come and see it some time, my garden is thriving but its not as big as I would like and normally I go wandering about to find what I need." That was his excuse to be able to get out of the house. 'I'm going to find some herbs.'
Hrm, what he'd been up too?
He looked around, "I'm thinking about getting the clinic up and running again. It doesn't look as if it is used as often as it should be. I already have one potential employee and could use a few more I think to keep it running smoothly." He looked over at Jani then laughed, "Want a job?"

Jan had a feeling it would really cut into her sitting around time but... It was better than staring at the wall depressed, wasn't it? And she could still write songs while working in the clinic. And she would be with Yukito...
"... I'd love a job."
Now moving to the counter, she took a seat on it, and cast Yuki a small smile.
"Ya, Lyrus, Anisia, and An're the only kids I've been 'angin' with. I dunno how to... To go back to bein' cheerful me. I think I migh' be broke, Yuki."

Yukito's tail started to swish back and forth as he looked back and around the clinic, "Its so dark here, quiet." He said, "Not long ago I was working here, interning with Dr. Falcon. Not long ago but it feels forever ago." He turned around to look over at Jani, "So I thought what it needs is to have new life breathed into it."
"Can't go back to how it was so we will have to work towards making it into something else. Not broken just new." He said then gave Jani a smile, "No reason to force yourself back to who you were, best for you to not even worry over it. Its when you stop worrying over things when you find what you want to do."
He'd not even thought about what he had about this place, about wanting to reopen it until he was just sitting here reading one day.
