Kadaj grinned slightly to take any sting frmo the words and pulled his hair back from his face. Then, he went back to polishing the katana.
"Incidentally, Dem, anythign special you wanna do today or sometime? Way you've been working, you deserve some kind fo treat that isn't sugar loaded."

Demyx pulled the bag back, giggling a bit as Keebler stuffed his face into it to retrieve another cookie.
"Somethin' special? Erm..."
Tail swishing, the blonde catboy set about thinking of what they could do.
"I d-dunno....but something special is coming up..."
He grinned up at his boss, bangs bouncing around a bit. Damnit, why couldn't his birthday get here sooner? He couldn't wait to be a teenager like the silver haired one was.

Demyx had thoughts of keeping it to himself and seeing if Kadaj could guess the upcoming event....

Kadaj managed to hide a grin with difficulty. Really, his minion was just too damned cute at times. he tried to keep his face from giving too much away, but he suspected his eyes were twinkling.
"Birthday, eh? Yes, that would indeed be a reason for celebration. Though I suspect you're probably more interested in the cake and ice cream than in actually getting older."
The silver-haired catboy grinned to take any possible sting from the words.
"You should have a party for your birthday, minion. Would you want one?"
