~Daisy of Noctem~
The little girl sighed, as she lay in the ally
She's hoping for sun to appear above valley
But, no light in Noctem, only tears so kind
They're inside her heart, and inside her mind.
Daisy of Noctem, this little girl's name
She's living in darkness, a dangerous game
The City of Noctem hides lies in it's smiles
If Daisy doth stay, there will be many trials.
Sorcerer Malchior, spells he can make
But if he tries potions, you're smart not to take
His list of ingredients call up for spice
If you sip one from him, then there will be a price.
Chang of the alley, he sells what he steals
But if you're to haggle, angry, he reveals
A monsterous art, that includes the blood shed
Better move little Daisy, or he'll taste your life, red.
In the club, Myst and Shadow, there's a girl with a mask
She's blind, deaf, so senseless, so often she'll ask,
"Where are my children? The people of shroud?"
When around her, her children, are laughing so loud.
Now, there is a place where the other's don't go,
A lady named Raven will give a "Hello."
She walks along shore of a lake, crimson, deep
And at stroke of midnight, this beauty will weep.
Daisy, oh Daisy, why do you stay here?
Where a sadness doth blow, and there's rarely a cheer?
Surely you will find a much brighter place,
Than the City of Noctem, outlined in black lace?
"But I can not leave this place full of grey,
These strangers are scary, but I will still pray,
That this city of sadness, and creatures so lost
Will one day be a place that is warm, gleeful, glossed."
So the little girl stayed in the darkness untamed,
Later in life, she, with glory, was named
A miracle, for all the words that she saith,
"Daisy of Noctem, the only one who had faith."
