Hi again.

I've got more stuff for you lovely people to bash ;D
This is fun.

I've been drawing cats alot lately, and these are two finished sketches.
The second one is really crap quality because of the scanning, and it's on a big acrylic sketch pad. I'm planning on painting it.

And I did a few little sketches when I was bored.

The first one's finished because I have nothing left for it, and it's not anything special.

The second one was ok, but I need to ink/colour it. Except I'll just ******** it up D;
The third one I know sucks, but I need to work out how do draw that irritating fairy thing's foot. And add shading to it. It's really unfinished.

So yeah. That's that.
When I scanned those in there were some black spots on the scanner.
I fixed it but just ignore the black splodges in these ones.
I'm planning on drawing 'real' people soon but I can never do that when I'm doodling in front of the computer Dx

EDIT

Photobucket shrunk them D;
b*****d.
Ok, until I imageshack them or something, sorry.

EDITEDIT

imageshack'd biggrin

looks like when you draw you pay to much attention to the etails and not enough attention to the picture as a whole.

As in the cat images, we can tell you used a reference, but the heads look sloppy and slightly mal formed. You should probably get the hang of sketching the basic shapes that make up the head, and then work on details once you've got it all mapped out correctly.

This goes for the more stylized work as well, you need to worry about the shape of the head and where the features are supposed to go before trying to make them look stylized. I would forget anime as a reference until you get a slightly better handle on anatomy. This doesn't mean you have to make only realistic pieces...but at least try sketching some and even get in the habit of looking at other styles of artwork. The more influences the better.
