Look, men are stupid. We are not mind readers. We cannot take subtle "hints". Such things just plain don't work. The male psyche is set up such that when we find a problem with anything (plumbing, relationships, flat tire, etc) we want to fix it. It's not always so easy to just "fix" something, but we can work on it. However, we need to know what the goddamn problem is first!
