The Villians fron the to greatest gaming Icons batteling it out.Bowser personaly seem like the stroungest of the two plus has his army of Boo's,Koopa troopas etc.

All Robotnik really has to do is jump over him to cut the rope, thus dropping Bowser into the lake of lava.
Then he'll find out that Sonic is in another castle.

Depends what sort of vehicle Robotnik is in. He changes them frequently enough. If we go for both having their signature vehicles, Robotnik is in the Hoveregg thingy, which has missiles, whereas Bowser is in his clown copter, which has... a microphone and some hammers.
Outside of vehicles, Bowser tears him apart easily, considering the good doctor's lack of Mario-esque agility. It depends on the equipment.
