Speaking about those who can debate like big girls...

User was blocked for this post xd

First time I've had to finish a discussion with another account.

I call this lefty tactic the "chickenshit permission blocker"

One of my alter egos
BTW the reply block is really cute too. I'll draw the line short of making the chicken clucking noises.

Soo... Can I make the chicken clucking noises since it is a different account or do I need someone else to do it in my stead?

Reverend Smooth
If you keep on trying to evade an ignore, I'll report it. I won't address your post beyond this.

Translation: "I can't win the argument so... Whaaa! Teacher, Kazuma's throwing erasers at me. Make him stop."

Some people never really left kindergarten I guess. wink

Lmao!!! I'm assuming that Reverend Smooth was formerly known by another name, as I've been gone too long, but the caustic manner is familiar.

Yep. 3nodding

She's AKA Sakurako sama. Her MO has always been (and still is) to call people liars when she gets frustrated. She tried to pull that on me some time ago but I hadn't lied and it was pretty obvious. confused

Someone let Angsty know...

Angsty Shem
'Cause he's been chickenshitting from me for months, and I heartily lol'ed at the 'lil hypocrite. Call me when he's stopped blacklisting this guild's leadership from his threads via ignorelisting/reply blocking.

The only reason he's been "chickenshitted" for months is that he userblocked me first (I've only userblock ED razz people who have done so to me first). I guess he didn't like the heaping spoonful of his own medicine he got over that whole digging people's off Gaia postings thing.

I made a thread about Separation of Church and State and how it was bullshit. There was this one guy who wouldn't shut up about how I wouldn't reply to his posts (I had 15 pages of postings neutral ) So I finally did and then if I didn't reply to all of his page long posts (3-5 at a time) in a timely manner he bitched at me some more.
Finally I decided to let it die because I couldn't keep up with the volume of posts and he bitched at me some more because I was trying to "evade" him. Like he was the king of debaters or something.
I told him to PM me his responce back if he wanted to debate more, but he never did.
I feel your pain.

You can't expect much from her. Heck, if you don't totally agree with her, your opinion doesn't matter then, either.

It's not really a matter of political leanings. It's really a matter of intelligence. I find there are two types of liberals, and two types of conservatives.

Liberals:

1) The Dumb Liberal: This is your typical minority senator (like the black senator chick who just lost the primary election, and was the one who assaulted the cop for getting pulled over), or incompetent honky who joined the liberal cause because he (and I'm using "he" because it is standard for Latin-based languages like de-feminized English to refer to an unidentified gender subject as "he") thinks whitey owes everything to everyone.

2) The Smart Liberal: These are the ones in control (Ted Kennedy, Kerry, both Clintons), who know what they're preaching is bullshit, but they say it anyway because they can spin-doctor a whole boatload of money and political support their way because enough grassroots hicks at least half-believe the American "melting pot" and "everyone is equal" crap.

Conservatives:

1) The Dumb Conservative: This is your Bible-thumping jackass who, while they may have educated responses and a mediocre understanding of the means to debate, they follow the conservative "faith" because of their religious views. They at least understand the Bible is meant to be taken literally (as it's supposed to be written in God's own words, or some crap like that). Rather than re-interpretting the passages of the Bible to feel less guilty around your daughter's new girlfriend, Jane, they stick to their spiritual guns whether it's eventually proven right or wrong.

2) The Smart Conservative: Enter your politlcal talk radio hosts (Lars Larson, O'Reilly-who's more liberal than I can really stand, Victoria Taft, Laura Ingraham, etc), your experienced, educated upper class, and those who are trying to get away from their ******** up hippie parents. These are the ones who realize by either trial and error, or logic, the cause and effect of things. While a higher minimum wage may help those still working at McDonald's to pay the rent, the smart conservative recognizes that eliminating the minimum wage would open up the chance for managers to more easily pay their employees based on effort and skill, thereby giving the best wages to (unfortunately for the liberals) the clean-cut, white guys, and cutting the wages of the unshaven, late, degenerate minorities who aren't even working there legally.

Then there's me, who can be summed up by two concepts:

1)The Scientific Method
2) A desire to worship independent achievement.

This leaves me closer to the smart conservative category, sans God. God doesn't fit into the picture when the scientific method is applied. Yet, at the same time, Judeo-Christian morality is a strong part of this nation's formation, and forms a significant precidence for our judicial system. Therefore, while I don't believe in the Christian God (or any god), the Ten Commandments, the Pledge of Alliegance, and being able to express your faith in a school is still valid (remember, "seperation of church and state" was not coined until the 1930's by a liberal supreme court justice, who didn't understand that while religion should not be forced upon anyone by our government, it does not rule out faith expressed in our government). Basically, you can't rewrite history to conveniently argue a point. Rather, you must use what history exists to support what history has proven sucessful.

Conservative thought also leans closer to capitalism, which is the organized form of rewarding personal achievement or innovation, and not paying out a group of mindless retards for one man's great work (which seems to be all the Department of Business and Economics is teaching me for my degree in those lame management classes).

In the end, the intellect and honesty of the individual determines what they eventually come to believe. Conservatism is closer to the answer, but still contains too many flaws and weak people who cannot do what is necessary.

This is why I support the concept of a capitalist dictatorship, or perhaps a capitalist anarchy. Ideally, I would prefer the Roman Empire to come back into power, but that doesn't seem likely.

That's what my dad always says. He was a Liberal Democrat until he had kids. Then he realized he didn't want to raise his kids in an America that was going to the dogs. When he switched to Conservative Republican, so many of his friends stopped associating with him. It hurt him a lot.

I tend to only lurk in the Extended Discussion forum because I hate how things get out of control, and I'm not good at controlling my temper on the Internet. But some of the conversations I see astound me. I guess that's what the litte [X] button in the top right corner of the screen is for. gonk

I can't believe how they're still ignoring the evidence of the shrapnel and other marks to the ambulence. Hell, that doesn't even look like it was an air-bursting weapon at all, antimaterial or not. It looks more like someone just took a whole bunch of target practice from a roof with some rifles for what looks like the effect of a single weapon. Any antimaterial shell, even without an explosive charge, just penetrating by kinetic energy, would have torn the sheet metal inward, and wouldn't have left as ragged a hole.

Oh, and you've gotta love now how the two Fox News employees (the reporter and his cameraman) were ONLY released because they converted to Islam.

Why don't we just go in and butcher what's left of the Muslims? I mean, we're doing everything to play war with kid gloves, and they're doing everything in their power to piss all over us while they fight their ill-planned war of attrition. It's time we show them what strategy really is, and start crucifying all those Muslims who are out at night after curfew.
