Ra nodded and drank some more coke. "That's a good point. I'm catching the train to Tokyo on Friday night and coming back late monday." He stood and went over to his desk to find the times. Making a note he handed the paper back to Kayne, along with his parents address. "We can synchronise being at the station at the same time and grab a taxi there and back together."

"I'm so glad you decided to forgive me for being an arse," Kayne grinned, taking the paper from him and glancing over the times. It would be perfect. Jess could pick him up and drop him off at the station. There really was no way for Cirrus to be in the least bit suspicious. Still grinning Kayne looked up at Ra.
"Who would have guessed that underneath that soft, shy exterior there lurked someone so coniving and cunning," he laughed and rose to his feet. "I'm serious Ra. If you ever need anything, ever, I'm here for you mate," he said reaching out to put a hand on his shoulder.

Ra smirked. "Exactly. No one suspects the quiet ones." He studied Kayne for a moment, he looked so happy. Ra knew he was doing the right thing helping him to get away. He couldn't imagine what it would be like if he and Chii couldn't be together whenever they wanted.
That brought a sad thought. He hoped they could talk soon. "I'll remember that. Just don't ******** up." He said seriously. "Because I don't want to face the wrath of your sister."

"Don't worry Kusani. I won't let her hurt you," Kayne teased, noting the sad look in Ra's eye. He had been about to ask about Chii, but thought better of it. Judging by that look he was pretty sure that they still had not had time to get back on proper terms. That made him appreciate what Ra was doing for him all the more.
"Well... unless you can think of anything else or feel like doing something, I suppose I ought to leave you to whatever it was you were doing before I came here," Kayne said with a small shrug, glancing over at the TV remembering that he had turned it off when he walked in the room.

Ra smiled and shrugged. Somehow he didn't think he would be the one who would need protecting from Cirrus. At Kayne's move to jet off Ra shook his head, he was enjoying the company after being stuck on his own for so long. As sad as it sounded Chii was pretty much his best friend at Aquila, even before they had started going out.
"I was watching Resivoir Dogs." He said nodding to the tv. "I hadn't got far. If you want to join me I can start it again."

Kayne smiled at Ra's suggestion.
"That sounds cool. I've never seen it before," he grinned and tucked the slip of paper in his pocket before returning to the cushion he had just vacated. Taking a sip of his soda he watched Ra get the movie ready then retun to his bed. Things were definitely starting to look up, he thought with a smile as the movie flicked on.~~~ Fade to Black ~~~
