I think that's because Organization XIII is based on the Chinese Zodiac plus the cat. Kind of like Fruits Basket.
(Sorry I don't know the whole zodiac not do I know the animal order but here's an idea about what I mean)
Xemnas-Rat (He has gray hair)
Xigbar-Cow (He has black and white hair and is so not as hot as Haru! [Not that I still like Haru...I used to, but I like Roxas now!])
Xaldin-Tiger? (The sideburns)
Vexen-Rabbit? (The hair)
Lexaeus-Dog? (I think the dog was after the rabbit...I don't know)
Zexion-Horse? (He's emo like Rin)
Saix-Rooster? (He kind of looks like one if you think about it)
Axel-Monkey? (He acts like one [in a good way])
Demyx-Sheep? (I do not know why I chose that animal)
Luxord-Boar? (I do not know about this one either...)
Marluxia-Snake? (He is kind of like Ayame[in other words, obviously gay])
Larxene-Dragon/Rabbit? (The hair)
heart Roxas-Cat heart (He's the outcast and he does kind of look like one! Ukyaaah!!! Roxas is so kawaii (and HOT)!!!

Roxas is Sora's nobody so naturally they look alike. And in turn, Kiari and Namine look alike. Just like Ansem the Wise, Ansem and Xemnes [-cough, cough- Mansex -cough-] all look alike in some way.

Don't burn me, but I think Axel is Riku's nobody. Don't ask unless you want some long analysis. o.o;
