That Wizard of Oz thing is an urban legend: http://www.snopes.com/movies/films/ozsuicid.htmAnyway... I found the Freddy Kruger and Jason movies to be more humorous than scary. Then there are movies like The Craft... If you're a pagan, it's lollerific. Otherwise, it's confusing and gives people a bad first impression of Wicca, Witchcraft, and paganism in general. I've been in many Circles (including a large festival gathering at Samhain) and never had an athame held to my throat. Exorcism of Emily Rose... Wasn't that actually proven to be a young woman with severe epilepsy? I know there was a trial and everything involving manslaughter charges.

I dunno how that played out, but some symptoms of supernatural phenomena coincide with those of health problems. Or perhaps some of the supernatural phenomena cause (in some cases) some of those health problems. In any case, some of the stuff talked about in the movie is stuff they don't teach in schools, even private, well-funded Catholic schools. The movie crew did their research. Kudos to them. It creeped me out.

I'm shocked at all of you, just shocked! eek How could not one person mention the movie "Poltergiest"? ..... It's my favorite horror film of all time 3nodding
As for Emily Rose, here is a fun link to the truth.
I have also found a more in depth site in the past (It happened, IRL, like 45 min.s from where I live in Germany) that I can't find now (sorry sweatdrop ). The only reason I mention it, is it said all the languages she spoke were explainable, because they were still being taught then and that the 2 voice thing was explainable because humans have 2 sets of vocal chords, and with extensive training you can learn to use both. Don't know if any of that is plausable, but felt like including it anyways xp

Okay I would like to now add The Decent to the list. >.< That movie was pretty messed up scary. I had to say looked it looked as though the buget fell short here and there...*cough*drawnonbats*cough* but it gave plenty a good scare, plenty of tention building, and well more than enough gore.

I heard pulse was great. There's a new show on Discovery channel about hauntings. If it wasn't trying to yank me around to watch their stupid commercials (tension right before break and such), I'd be happier, but it's not full of cheese like most Discovery shows are.

Did anyone mention Slither yet? I though the movie was hilarious. Gross, yes. But mostly funny. It has aliens, zombies, mutated human alien hybrids, cannibalism, gunfire, a single grenade, and a hidden love story. I just remembered it. >.<

Immortal_Punk waht ever you do dont watch the blair witch project. It's really bad. sorry to all those who atually like it. 1. It's not scary 2. it's view about the supernatural and witchcraft is bad. it is completely wrong and gives the wrong idea about all of it.e.g the gaelic runes that are pictured in the movie are wrong and everything is done badly! which is also important to add that the runes did not belong to the Gaels, they belonged to the Germanic tribes; so there is not such thing as "Gaelic runes". Here is the explanation on the runes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Runesand here some information on the Gaels: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaelichttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaels
