I've never really played the PSX version, even though I own it... what's on there that the SNES version doesn't have? Besides the extra scenes and artwork and all that; I've already seen all those online. sweatdrop

Terra~Branford Oh. Yeah, the scenes themselves are good but I have a serious problem with the models they used. ...They get an A+ on the soldier and Magitek Armor models tho sweatdrop Didn't they use the exact same model for Terra and Celes? As well as some of the FF5 characters... I thought they were all the same person at first. sweatdrop It's too bad there were so many good characters not included in any of those. X_x Oh well.

Yeah, and I'm still noit sure which game suffered more of a travesty because of the crap cg models they used (IV, V or VI) IV was the only one my mother swore at. sweatdrop She's a big FFIV fan.

I say the SNES version. I have both, and the load times are atrocious. If it weren't for the extra content, FMVs and FFV that come with the PSX version, I'd have taken the game back. I'd have kept the book though, it's chock full of Yoshitaka Amano. *drools*
As far as those CG models go in the FMVs, the only ones I liked were Terra and Edgar. Terra because they stayed mostly true to the original Amano drawings, i.e. blond hair, flowery leggings and bluish-green eyes. Edgar I liked because he's such a pretty letcher.

Heh, I got so lucky. About 4 years after FFVI came out, this video store opened up by my friends house, and they got a copy of VI, so he rented it and brought it over. My copy by this time was staring to loseit's ability to retain save data. But I looked at the copy he had rented and it was brand spanking new. So I just kinda... switched the cartridges... since there was.. you know... no sticker on it.

That's like my friend's Blockbuster trade-in scheme. He buys worn-out and abused games from miscellanious sources, then rents the same game from Blockbuster. By some mishap he gets them mixed up and sends the wrong one back, by the time he's 'noticed' it's too late. Classic example of system abusal, so amusing!
