This conversation is very pleasant- a good way to start the morning, really, but it's quickly soured by a noise coming from the distant stables. More specifically, it is the noise of a stubborn, perturbed horse and a considerably angry man.
Alva sighs exasperatedly and pinches the bridge of her nose with her free hand while whacking her own thigh with her cropwhip. "Damn that idiot man..." she mutters, "doesn't even know how to handle an animal correctly..." She shakes her head and composes herself.
"I hate to cut this conversation short, but it would be best if I go help Alphonse before he gets kicked in the face... my apologies." She begins to walk towards the stables, calling back, "It was enjoyable to speak with you. Perhaps we can talk again tomorrow morning."

Chris' eyes widen as the strange noises filter to her ears. It takes a moment, but she finally makes out what the noises are.
Alva's cursing of 'that idiot man' somewhat help put things into perpective as well. Standing from her seat, she gives a quick nod.
"I see... No, that is fine. I do not blame you for wanting to check on your animal." she chuckles at the mentioning of Alphonse getting kicked in the face. Must be quite the animal she thinks to herself.
"Perhaps indeed. That would be quite nice." she gives a quick nod as Alva moves off towards the stables.
What a strange group of characters.

As Alva makes her way to the stables, she decides that for once, the good factors outweigh the bad. She has finally met another woman who is capable of rational thought, and they will most likely enjoy each other's company in the future...
...and Alphonse's reaction to this new, practical dress will be hilarious.
Such a thought makes the woman actually smile and wave with her cropwhipped hand at Chris before walking out of sight.
