Another tip ~ whenever my mum breaks something, or if my bro and I break something, she'll go to a store and buy the exact same item, be it a videgame or whatever. Then she'll bring it home, swap the discs or whatever is defective and return the defective one. Thus allowing us to keep the brand new one. xd

Toki - both my parents are kinda like that ninja
My mum takes a handful of McDonalds napkins whenever we go there, same for every other restaurant. She also rumages through the back of the milk shelf, when buying milk, looking for milk that lasts longer, she says the front ones are out of date much earlier xp
My dad goes shopping he always look for dicounted items, and the habit has now been passed onto me o.o;; He also takes as many coupons he can find in the newspaper where he works, for example McDonalds coupons xd

My dad goes shopping he always look for dicounted items, and the habit has now been passed onto me o.o;; He also takes as many coupons he can find in the newspaper where he works, for example McDonalds coupons xd Yup, same with mine. Is it just us BBCs who see this in our parents or does everyone chinese have stingy parents?

(Cos I'm actually a Viet that knows zilch about Vietnamese culture and more about Chinese culture xd ...sorry I didn't metion it when I introduced myself or something sweatdrop )

My parents used to be like that.. I don't think they can be bothered anymore..
..but all my DVDs (well, practically all of them) are pirated. They're just so much cheaper, and you can get really good quality ones nowadays. 3nodding
Toki's mother is just slightly evil. xD
