I actually think it's a totally stupid habit. Especially those people who let other people know that they do it.. it's like please stop asking for attention. The only ones I sympathize with are those who actually do have a problem, and these would usually go to extreme lengths not to let anyone see their cuts, in which case you wouldn't actually know they do cut themselves.

My friend doesn't tell people. I found out myself and asked her. She has heaps of problems in her life and I've helped her pass them all. She doesn't really do that anymore coz I helped her. That's what friends are for heart .

Exactly.
I have this friend who "does" it, and like she'll try to show people by "mistake". It's really annoying, because we know she isn't like that.
