A small package arrives at Tsu's front door. It's marked as fragile and the box bears the Uncle Al's Cure Company logo. Inside are the two bottles he had ordered. Instead of solution however, they're filled with white tablets. The instructions on the bottle read: One tablet to be added to 8 ounces of water for one individual with an ailment. Take one a day. Repeat as necessary.

"I don't think I trust dat..." Kai said as he looked at the water not only fizz, but turn to a yellow-ish color after a tablet was inserted into a tall glass of water. "What good will it do m--he---choo! me?"
"It's not for you... it's for me. Tsu said as he took the Airborne concoction and downed it in one gulp. "I thought I told you that I wasn't going to give you the cure all yet. I didn't trust it all that much either."
The kid had been having allergic reactions on and off all day. Tsu knew he wasn't sick, but wasn't willing to take any chances. It's not like the Drinkables! current condition was contagious, right?
"Still... da coughing... and da clogging are kinna ... 'noyig" Kai mumbled sniffling a little to try and clear out his nose.
"Although this won't be supported by most medical schools" Tsu started, pulling out a bottle of childrens dimetapp, "This might help with the allergies. I just am a little unsure about the right amount to give a drink. Hope you don't taste grape too much."
"Anyway... it's getting late kiddo. Take some dimetapp and I'll be nearby if you have more problems" Tsu said, ruffling Kai's hair a little. "G'night Kai"
"G'nnnnght" Kai said straightening his hair, dimetapp obviously hadn't kicked in quite yet.

Dimetapp didn't help Kai's congestion. In fact it did the exact opposite, making his nose completely stuffed up so he's an obligatory mouth breather. Now having allergies is a little more tricky and a lot more uncomfortable. Only the faint pink glow that make a halo over Kai's head knows when it all will end.

"Kai? What's wrong? I've hardly heard a peep from you all morning."
Kai was taking gulping breaths of air. It was like he was drowning in a sea while standing firm on the ground. Was this a new feature to the Drinkables! experience? Kids that drown when not submersed? That would be a little annoying more than an interesting and new marketing ploy....
"No... I can't breede... through my node." Kai managed out between gasps for air.
"Didn't I give you a decongestant? Did it work at all? Or have you just been stuck here gasping for air all night without calling me?" Tsu suddenly grew worried.
"It... started... a lil' while ago." Kai huffed, "Decongesnant.... no work." Kai gestured to try and get his points across. He hated this breathing pattern... it felt like he was constantly winded, even though he had more than enough energy to go out and do a lot of arm wrestlings and rock paper scissors. "Tdu... make dis... stop!"
"I would if I could bud!" Tsu protested in his defense, "I have no idea what the hell that pink substance is... and why it's affecting only you." Even the halo of pink looked slightly demonic in enjoying the pain this household was under.
"I'll try a few more medications I have, but if there is no improvement... I'm going to suggest that we try that Uncle Al's or whatever it was I ordered. I don't want you to suffer too much more."
Kai shook his head vehemently, "No... not dat..." He wanted nothing to do with Uncle Al and his cure "I stronger dan dat..." Kai flexed to show Tsu what he meant.
"Yes... you're strong." Tsu smiled, "... and very active. Why even now your nose is running. ((BAD JOKE ALERT!!)) Let me go get something for you to blow it."
With that Tsu went back out into the hall and grabbed some tissues for Kai.

The pink dust halo spins around Kai's head making him sneeze one gigantic sneeze. This clears everything from his stuffed nose, which is not pretty, but at least he can breathe after. When he inhales, in goes some of the pink dust making the rest of the halo dance and spin around his head like a swirling fog being stirred by a breeze. It causes Kai’s Calpis to rise up and submerge the young Drinkable! child as the liquid bubbles with foreboding. After a minute, Kai doesn’t resurface. He doesn’t for the whole rest of the day. His drink just bubbles, the only sign that he is still in there. Even fishing around for him with a finger yields no result.
The pink dust just amicably circles around in it's halo formation where Kai's head once had been. Waiting.

"Kai?" Tsu's voice called out as he came back from the rest room with some Kleenix. "You alright bud? That was a mighty sneeze I just heard." no response from the other side. "Kai, I'm coming in."
When the door was opened there was nothing but a mess of mucus and other gross bits to greet him in the room. As well as Kai's bottle. Exactly HOW much junk can a kid hold in his head? Tsu thought glumly thinking about the new cleaning job he'd have to do. It's like everything spilled on the carpet.
Still the uneasy feeling that something else was amiss would not leave Tsu be. For one, where WAS his kid? It wasn't like Kai could walk up and out of the room. Looking once more to the bottle for clues, Tsu peeked in at the enormous amount of bubbles. "You in there? Aren't the bubbles a little thick? Tsu said reaching a finger in gingerly to try and fish his kid out. Nothing though. Just an odd sort of pink ring of dust at the top, sort of like one of the rings of saturn.
Trying one last check for his kid, Tsu lifted the bottle and looked at it from all the possible angles he could think of while avoiding dumping it out. Finally setting it down, the pink ring was all he had to talk to. "I don't suppose you'll tell me when you plan to stop tormenting my kid and me." Tsu muttered a little cross, "No matter... I'll just wait it out."

Meanwhile Kai was just as confused. It wasn't as if he couldn't hear Tsu, but it came from far away. When he tried to respond himself, the bubbles seemed to carry off his voice without a sound. Then he remembered some of the gum bubbles he saw before. Facing away from one of the bubbles, he tried to pop it. However, each time he pops one, a new three form in it's place. Giving up with a sigh, Kai resigned himself to his bubbly prison for the time being.

The halo of pink spun up faster and faster. Bubbles rapidly lifting and dying, then... in a flash of pink it was done. Kai and his bottle were different from anything he's ever seen before. The only difference is that cup was a lot larger. Kai was still the blushing image... and for a good reason. Tsu was blushing a little too as his kid had no pants. Whatsoever.
We'll have to fix that issue before we take him out in public Tsu thought Especially if Evie or Kareme is involved
Painting a smile on his face "Welcome back. And you've grown" Tsu noted.
"Thanks. It felt really weird in those bubbles. Can we go meet some of the others?
"Umm... first we get you some pants, then we might be able to meet some of the others... I wonder how they are."
Kai got comfortable in his cup by leaning back. "Finee... I guess that'll be fine."
