If you are creating a shinobi that is a Genin and/or if this is too complicated for you(and is your first RFS character). I would ask that you consult the Intermediate Character Creation or Basic Character Creation Databook instead ^.^.

Step One: Read the blank character sheet on the post below.
Step Two: Look over the posts beneath that that go over each section of the character sheet for your convienance.
Step Three: Fill out your Shinobi Application
Step Four: PM the Application to Aria Mournesong
Step Five: Wait for an Approval or Correction PM from me

All rights to the info below belong to Aria Mournesong, it cannot be reproduced or reused without her permission ^_^.

Blank Application Form
The fields in Red can be left out of your Application if you do not have a Cursed Seal, Demon or a Bloodline Limit. If you do possess one or more of the above, simply leave that field(s) in and remove the remaining. Also any field in that has brackets around it: [ ] does not have to be submitted with the brackets, that's just there to make it visually clear what I want in that field xd
Please read all of the posts below for a better explanation of how this should be filled out.

Character Stats
This is the only "complicated" part of the character application. Please note that the Stat-Caps, only apply during the Creation Process. After the character is made you are free to put points where you please. To learn more about how the points work after creation see the Character Advancement Databook.
**Makes note to create said Databook**

If you are a Genin, for example. You have 20 creation points to distribute among your stats(Shown in the Total Number of Creation Points), You also may not spend more than 3 points on any one stat(Shown in the Stat-Cap).

Listed below are what each of the stats do for your character.

Genin
Starting Health: 50
Starting Chakra: 20
Starting Stamina: 50
Total Number of Creation Points: 20
Individual Stat-Cap of Points: 3

ANBU

Do Not Use This Section If Creating An Akatsuki. See Below

Jinchuuriki
Those that have a demon sealed inside of them begin with 60 Stamina (if a Genin) or 70 Stamina (Chuunin and above) rather than the normal 50.

Akatsuki
Please go HERE to learn how to create an Akatsuki.

Stats
Note about Stats:
Although it's required for you to have stats for your character if you prefer NOT to number crunch in a battle you and your team are not required to use them for combat. The reason these are created was so you can tell the strength/weaknesses of your character vs another persons. So if you wish to simply RP it out that's fine but use the stats as a guideline so Metagaming does not happen. Please discuss how you wish to handle combat within your teams so that everyone is happy.
The Chuunin Exams are the only exception to this rule, all matches must use the combat system.

Note: Stats highlighted in Orange can not be modified with Creation Points.

-- 0 = No Talent in that area
-- 1 through 2 points = D-Class Ability
-- 3 through 4 points = C-Class Ability
-- 5 through 6 points = B-Class Ability
-- 7 through 8 points = A-Class Ability
-- 9 points and above = S-Class Ability

Techniques
In this section you list which techniques your character has learned. Please see the Technique Databooks ( D-Class, C-Class, B-Class, A-Class, S-Class & Techniques Not Allowed) for more information.

Please Read: If you're an old RFS member, you remember that in the old Applications, the Techniques you learned may have had a prerequisite Technique you needed before you could learn a higher ranked one. That is no longer the case, however, you are still required to have Techniques that would reasonably fit your Shinobi Country. (AKA: No Hidden Snow using Fire Techniques)

Rank: What level the Technique is at [E through S Class]
Category: What form of Technique it is [ Ninjutsu/Genjutsu/Taijutsu]
Type: What does the Technique do [Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary, Healing or Summon]

Format:
Techniques:
[ Japanese Name ][ (English Name) ][Rank, Category, Type]
Description, Etc

Speciality Technique(s): [ Japanese Name ][ (English Name) ][Rank, Category, Type]
Description of Technique, Etc
Trademark Techniques(s): [ Japanese Name ][ (English Name) ][Rank, Category, Type]
Description of Technique, Etc

Starting Number of Techniques
Genin: 5 Technique points
Chuunin: 7 Technique points
Jounin: 10 Technique points
Special Jounin: 11 Technique points
ANBU: 12 Technique points
Sannin: 15 Technique points

"Normal" Technique Cost: 1 Technique point
Each "normal" Technique does a standard amount of damage based on its rank(See the Techniques in Combat section of the Combat Databook). However, you may choose to make the Techniques better than normal by making them a Specialty or Trademark Technique.

Speciality Techniques
See the Trademark and Specialty Databook for more information
Each Technique Chosen as a Speciality Costs: 3 Technique points

Trademark Techniques
See the Trademark and Specialty Databook for more information
Each Technique Chosen as a Trademark Costs: 4 Technique points

Higher Ranked Techniques
You can not learn a Technique that is higher than your "Seal" rating. So if your Seal rating is only B-Class you can not learn S-rank or A-rank Techniques.

Custom Techniques
You are allowed to make your own techniques, however I would ask that you right a short description of what exactly the technique is capable of doing. Due to the maximum damage, chakra cost of techniques and chakra availabel to characters per shinobi rank you may choose what grade of Technique you create as well.

Gate-Based Techniques
If you're making a custom made Technique that relies on the Gate system(that aren't in Databooks) please talk to me about them.

Multiple-Type Techniques
This allows you to mix-match the type of Technique that you create. An example would be a [Damage/Supplementary] Technique.
You may not have more than 1 additional Type per Technique.
Cost:
2 Technique Points if the Technique is between D to C-Class
3 Technique Points if the Technique is between B to A-Class
4 Technique Points if the Technique is S-Class

Medical Techniques: Guidelines
There are numerous Medical Techniques in the Technique Databooks but this is a general guide to creating some of your own.
D-Class: Very basic medical techniques, all require the use of either tools from the medical kits or senbon. At this level the techniques mostly fall into Taijutsu or Genjutsu. On the battlefield these are used mostly to just stabilize the patient until they can be taken to the hospital for proper treatment.
C-Class: Medical Techniques at this level require medical kits/senbon along with very basic Ninjutsu or more complex Taijutsu/Genjutsu. On the battlefield these are used mostly to just stabilize the patient until they can be taken to the hospital for proper treatment.
B-Class: Medical techniques at this level are mostly Ninjutsu in origin. On the battlefield these techniques can begin to treat most types of injuries that are not life-threatening. At this level of medical techniques, basic offensive techniques are created.
A-Class: Medical techniques at this level are mostly Ninjutsu in origin. These are the most powerful "common" techniques used by the Medical Corps and are able to treat even life-threatening conditions at a hospital. On the battlefield these techniques can prolonge the overall health of a ninja and prevent death due to bleeding, poison, etc. More advanced offensive medical techniques are also created at this level. Most Techniques at this level require more than one Medical nin to accomplish (without causing ill effects to the medical ninja)

Puppet-Users
Please see the Tools of the Shinobi Databook for more information

Summoning Techniques
You may have noticed that in the Technique Databooks, Kuyichose no Jutsu(the Summoning Technique) is listed more than once. That is because the size of the Summon is determined by two factors: The maximum level contract you have signed(aka the Seal Rank), and how much Chakra is placed into the actual summoning. The Summons Attack & Defense is the same as a person's, based on their Summon Rank.

Format on Sheet:
Summon Name, Animal, Element
Stats
Techniques
Techniques Allowed: Each Summon has One Trademark Technique and One Normal Technique. They may gain additional Techniques as your character progresses.

Summon Chart
D-Class: A very small animal
Stat Points: 20
-Stats Restriction: No stat greater than 2
Cost: 1 Technique Point

C-Class: A small to medium sized animal
Stat Points: 25
-Stats Restriction: No stat greater than 4
Cost: 2 Technique Point

B-Class: A large to human-sized animal
Stat Points: 35
-Stats Restriction: No stat greater than 6
Cost: 3 Technique Points

A-Cass: A huge sized animal
Stat Points: 40
-Stats Restriction: No stat greater than 8
Cost: 4 Technique Points

S-Class: The size of Gamabunta, Manda & the Kyuubi
Stat Points: 50
-Stats Restriction: No stat greater than 12
Cost: 5 Technique Points
