So, I was wondering what progams wou must have to make a profile. I have absolutly no clue how to do any of this and I need a bit of help. Anyway, if anyone has any tips, hints, or plain out help, to give me, I'll greatly appriciate it!

Oh, and thanks to the entire guide for accepting me!

Profile code is just a bunch of text so no programs are required. However, programs that let you preview the changes as you make them are very convenient, one example is the web developer extension for FireFox.

I don't know much about image making. XnView is pretty good (reasonably powerful for such a simple program) for filtering (changing colour scales) and resizing images. "Gimp" is a free complicated to use program if you don't have photoshop but need more advanced stuff.
