The One Above All is completely omnipotent, he created the multiverse and created the Living Tribunal (and LT's power has been shown to outpower the Gauntlet).
You just completely described the being that I'm talking about. I'd say it's the same being. Thus the only reason that LT wasn't just swept away by a wave of the IG was probably the fact that it was being used by a mortal being. Like I said before, I don't know if Thanos could take the L-sama seeing as how we don't know if 1. the being that created the gems was the One Above All 2. if Thanos could take LT with more than a couple days of practice at omnipotence 3. The OAA was more/less powerful than L-sama. But I've also seen no reason or evidence to believe that he
COULDN'T take L-sama either.
Not to mention the fact that with the IG, he could still easily grow in power still. Heart of the Universe, Cosmic Eggs, other universes power sources....
