Kizuka yawned tiredly. All the events of the day had worn her out. She had first tought the cub who liked to be called Dark Warrior how to swim, and then went on hunting--it was very unlike her to let go of her energy so early but she could not help it anymore.
Her hunting had taken her off to far away--in the places she had possibly never been. Even if she had, she did not remember the dark and gloomy place she was in now. She looked around wearily--what was this place? All dusty and ash colored with bones sticking out of the groung like daisies in a meadow?
she knew she should get going on her way to home, a new concept in her fire, but her curiosity was far more stronger than her sense of duty. She wandered in between the bones aimless for a while... this familiar smell in such a strange place?... She suddenly recognized the smell--hyenas! She was not in her mood of fighting so she slowly turned back to leave the graveyard--that wss when she realized she was not alone anymore.

A medium sized figure meandered amidst the haze and shadow of the graveyard. It had been several minutes since the prince had stumbled across the lone lioness taking a curious glance around his home. Since then, Runai had taken to following this strange, pale female. Although, considering that nothing in his day had been so far any more entertaining, it seemed obvious that he couldn't help but trail.

Rune was a solitary being, traveling with a slight limp to his step, perhaps which was what gave him away near the borderline of the territory. Since his previous quarrel with Mafa, he'd been graced with a permanent ticket to being clumsy and loud while he walked, a complete change from when he was younger and more able to keep to a more stealthy method to moving. It was one of the more unfortunate events in his life, although in a sense it helped to have him noticed once and a while, since his steps often created a fair bit of racket on the unsettled bones.

Despite his way of walking, his senses hadn't dulled a bit. Of course, once being taken noticed of, the adolescent quickly took to hiding, ducking low behind a smaller elephant skull in the area. Unfortunately, the noise he made getting there may have even uncovered him further.

Kizuka looked around but could not see anything--was she mistaken? Then she heard a noise again and this time she was sure. Being rather impulsive, she called out impatiently "Well I have no idea what kind of a being you are--hyena or not-- I am too tired to play games right now. So please show yourself." She did not mind if the there were a pack of hyenas around or not, but she would rather fight them than to play the guess-who game.
She sat on the ground and eyes her surroundings carefully in case some hyena with teenage angst jumped behind a lump of bones. It was true she had never been to this place, but she had heard about it--it was relatively close to the pridelands, and the rumours spread quickly.

Rune quirked a brow to a mild extent, tail twisting in an idol like fashion behind his ducking figure. Was she.. actually scared of this place..? What a silly thought. But.. considering the color of her fur.. no, she couldn't be from around here.

So. She was a trespasser, then..? It was an ideal and appealing idea to this particular male to play and toy, even if it wasn't exactly a nice way to greet.

"Why..?" He suddenly called, ears perking at the voice emitted and the comments left. "I suppose that you're scared of what you can't see, then..? If so, then I'm afraid you've come to the wrong place to take a scenic tour. Here in the graveyard it's always a fashion to keep hidden, rather than stroll around out of cover unless well.. you don't care if you're jumped on or not."

No. This wasn't exactly true. But it was fun to say anyway, in Runes mind. However he continued, not thinking much of this lie, considering that the majority of the members around here didn't keep hidden at all. "So you've heard of the hyenas here..? I don't suppose any rumors ran about what else lives here..?"

Yes, yes. Though withdrawn, this adolescent always managed to pry at strangers for answers to questions he might have had dwelling in the back of his head at the time, curiousities unfilled with the daily wanderings through the graveyard.

Kizuka's ears moved slightly as she heard some unfamiliar voice call out to her in a rather strange fashion. She was expecting the owner of the voice to show himself, for she new now sure it was a male, and to quit this game of hide and seek. However, the voice seemes to enjoy this current situation.
Kizuka did not reply at first, but retreated behind a bone hill herself. The voice indicated that whoever hiding out there was probably younger than her and she could take him with no problem. However, it was not her intention to fight.
She she slowly hided herself, she spoke out "Well honestly, I don't care if I am jumped or not, because there is no escape from it if you are planning to attack me and i should fight, but if your intentions are docile, again i have no reason to hide because you will not hurt me." she could not help but giggle at this point. she had started to enjoy herself even though she was skeptic at first. She followed the voice with her ear and moved slowly around the bones to the source of this voice, careful not to make a sound. "So, tell me, what else lives here? Because I am curious about what these creatures are..." the voice was now quite near and she could swear she saw a tail wiggling just around the next skull lying on the ground "because from where i come, we call the creatures who dwell in the shadows.." she was right behind the suspected source of voice "cowards.. surely you dont want to be one of those would you?" She hoped she was talking to somebody behind the skull because it would be a little creepy, talking to the skull itself. She gave out a laughter "I am Kizuka by the way" At this point she was sure the owner of the voice did not intend to attack her because if he wanted to do that, he would have done already.

Runes eyes couldn't help but follow the origin of the females voice, listening as it crept closer and closer to his 'hiding spot'. It wasn't until she was finished speaking that the adolescent finally responded. Until this time, here merely remained in his ducked position, listening all the while.

"No. I've no intention of jumping anyone. I've no need to waste my time with that." He finally stated truthfully. In all honesty he wasn't exactly in a state in which he could accomplish this easily. Not only this, but he needed to save his temper for Mafa and when he'd be able to have a second go at the hyena who had crippled him in the first place. Before this, Rune promised himself he wouldn't find himself in any.. sticky situations.

"As far as what lives here," He continued, cocking his head a bit,"Hyenas, the basic family of vile rodents, dogs, beasts alike. You are correct in mentioning the shadow dwellers. Only the ones who are exceptionally arrogent dare to travel out of them 'round here, despite that around these parts there is, in most situations, no danger lurking."

His tail twitched, the fur on the end patting the dry, grey soil. "Coward certainly isn't a way to describe the ones who lurk. It's considered a smart attribute in these parts, like I mentioned. So.. wherever you've come from.. it is obvious you know very little about the graveyard." He sighed, brows furrowing. Pity. It would have been nice to meet an outsider finally familiar with the land. But no. This girl was merely a tourist taking a walk in the attraction.

Despite that Kizuka had given her name, Runai wasn't so curtioius to respond with his. However he did take a moment to relieve himself from the ground, raising to full height. He was, most likely, about the size of the female, perhaps a tid bit smaller. He was only an adolescent, afterall.
