Nickolodien is not ready to make an overly complex romantic subplot to avatar. we are working on a what you see is what you get situation.
Aang and Katara
Sokka and Tie Lee
Zuko and Mai
anything that is introduced later will be there but they are not going to change those archs once established
what i want to know is if Katara and Aang had a kid would it airbend or waterbend?

I say airbend because airbenders are so low in numbers! 3nodding

My friend made me realize something!! the swamp that the trio was in created images or visions of LOST loved ones right? so Toph....is gonna die crying Did you ever think she might be one of the avatars lover's reincarnated? I had been thinking that, and I originally thought she was a lost love of Aang's past live. 'Tis a possibillity. @_@

dragonsckull Ang is livily and is the kind of person you can probably flirt with him by play fighting and hitting him. Katara seems more relaxed she seems like the person who would be flirtter by calmely talking. Taph is a fighter she is Ang 's age (not realy).PLus Katara and Zuko!!!!!! would make a great couple. heart question i'm sorry but you people kind of scare me crying gonk im sorry but you do, I think that they would make a creppy couple I just don't think that Aang would get along with Toph (and same with Zuko and Katara)

This is true..... All the producers at Nick are well aware that children aren't able to concieve of love triangles. I mean really..... in real life, you find your one true love early in your life, and they are just perfect, and you're perfect and someday you'll get married and all your problems will be solved and everyone will live happily ever after! [/sarcasim]
As far as the kid thing went.... as verily cool as it would be for the kid to be an airbender, I think it's more likely that it'd be a waterbender. Besides, you can't build a race of people with just two people. I mean.... you could try, but it wouldn't work. At best, you could get Aang to sleep around.... but even that wouldn't work ultimatly *gets shot for even suggesting it* Or we could assume the ever popular, tacky solution. They have TWO kids, one's and airbender and the other a waterbender.

Dude.... I so thought that the day after I made that other post ;____; It's almost a disapointment.... although a part of me is curious as to just how she would die *morbid thoughts* x___x
no no no..... member when Aang was talking to the swamp guy? and said "well ive never seen her before"... and he said "well ur the avatar u tell me?" then Aang said.. "So its someone i WILL meet!!" it doesnt mean that shes necessairly gonna die.. Since he is the avatar he was able to see a vision of someone he was going to meet in the future
This is true... although truth be told, I didn't see the swamp episode ^^; I guess I was just pointing it out for all the shippers who claim that Aang and Toph MUST fall in love with each other because he saw her in the swamp and people only see loved ones in the swamp, but the thing is, people see LOST loved ones in the swamp..... gosh this gets confusing after a little bit of explaining....
In my opinion, he was probably just thinking really hard about who he was going to find to train him, and thus had the vision. Or something like that....
