Actually, the lounge is a resource for crew members to keep in touch with each other in a permanent environment, and I'm sure every crew member would agree that it does exactly that. I know what certain forum you're thinking of, and it's true, I don't allow offtopic discussion/spam in the lounge. The main forum's just a click away, there's no reason why they would use the lounge for such a thing. So, care to explain how a forum that serves its purpose properly and uninvasively sucks?
Most guild members will neglect to check a guild's subforums, due to how long it can take, and the new post indicators beside the forums being broken. This is why I usually have to remind them when I post a new thread.
