I want to start planning for the next gathering now, so that we can get as many good ideas together as possible.
I've already decided:
- This will be a three-day gathering. It will start at midnight, Saturday, June 10th, and go until 11:59 PM, Monday, June 12th. The reason for this is that the 12th is a public holiday for us Australians, and England as well (I think), for the queen's birthday. For Americans, it'll end at around 7-10 AM on Monday, so it won't matter much for you.
- There will be some events. I haven't decided what yet, but I'm thinking of some artistic competitions, and maybe a chain game or two. I'll post some ideas later.
- I'll admit, I don't really care about the queen, but I love puns, so there will be a dress code at this gathering. :D Everyone needs to dress and act like a queen. They can interpret it how they wish (yes, even gay XDD), and there'll be a competition behind it too. We'll vote on who was the best, and they'll win a prize.
- I won't be "hosting" this gathering (starting the thread), because I did the first. First person to volunteer gets it, but you need to ensure you can be online at midnight on June 10th, AEST. This post was made on Sunday, May 7th, at 5:30 PM, AEST.
