I suppose there's no real purpose for this thread as he'll be back tomorrow night.

But I miss my husband. He's active Duty Army but he volunteers to go to monthly drill so we can get that extra bit of money to help out with bills and such.

AT in August (2 wk drill) is gonna kill me if I miss him this much for just 4 days.

Wanna know how pathetically I miss him? stare

......

I called his cell phone just to hear his voice mail message cuz I haven't talked to him in 2 days. cry

I don't think I've seen you in the Military Families thread yet, you can always pop in there if you're feeling lonely and need to talk about it. There's a good number of spouses in the guild and when it pops back up to the top, you'll see quite a few people flock in there.

Seperations can be tough, especially when you have a pregnancy already making you feel needy. I know the time Chris was in PLDC or in the field while I've been pregnant was way worse then the year he was gone in Iraq. I think the hormones just compound those feelings exponentially and make you super clingy.

Just do the best you can to distract yourself and it will help the time pass more quickly. Find some books to get lost in or if you have a hobby, start a nice big project. 3nodding

I used to be like that, but you eventually find ways to be strong around that. It's tough when you're pregnant and newly married, but the key is to focus on the positives. If my dh is only going to be gone for a week or two, I turn into a special time for just me or I turn it into mommy/son funtime.

Staying busy and distracted is really key for me. I tend to view the smaller times like a week as actually healthy for me to be away from my husband now, but I try very hard to put things in perspective and stay strong.

I've never been a clingy person. Ever. So its weird for me to suddenly feel like this when he's gone.

No I haven't popped into that thread yet. Its a little intimidating for me being basically a new military wife..... sweatdrop Silly, I know.

I know I should find something to occupy myself with but with school and work, I'm so exhausted all the time I never have the energy to do anything else. Or at least that what it feels like. I so desperately want to work on my book. And I really should. I've got an agent interested in it as soon as its finished. But with the stress from my job, I'm so tired all the time I never get to work on it.

And on top of that with the pregnancy I'm needy and hormonal all the time.

I dunno, just kinda.....depressing I suppose.
