Kouta_XIII Nariko_Shina ._.; You know the gate all the way INSIDE TO WHERE THE CLOCK is is NOT TWO METERS. Thats true...so thats out of the question...But why is the Manga so messed up? Actually in the Manga it says Lucy's vectors are growing at an accelerated rate. Because the clock isn't really that far in there, it is possible.

- Don't mix the anime with the manga.
- The manga has a way different ending.
- The anime is just how it is.

I doubt Lucy died, but I think the losing of the horns meant something, like she won't have her vectors no more so she'd be like Nyuu but perhaps with her memories and ability to talk still, then again, this is all based on an opinion, you can't say for sure if she lived or died >< I wished they'd tell us!

personally i think that the Lucy's loss of her horns ment that the two burdens were off her chest. The first being Kouta, she had longed to tell him that she ws sorry for the evil she had caused, even if it broke off before that, she was happy to be with Kouta [mainly how he was always so kind to her]. And that her bloodthirst was over becasue the chief was died, and so was the one son, So what else does she have to do besides try and live happily.
and a second thought about the last scene I think that Lucy wanted to come home but decided that she had to grow herself before she could return the Kouta, it was one of those last minutes choices.
and one last question
what did that dog that young Lucy was taking care symbolize?

what did that dog that young Lucy was taking care symbolize? I think the dog was just convenient. To have those kids kill it was leaning of the direction of humans being especially apalling. And, it was probably to hint that dicloni hurt humans and not animals.

LUCY IS NOT DEAD!!!
I will make my own second season to prove that point if I must. I think that the person who created Lucy would had to have loved her to much to kill her, just wouldnt make sense!
