what do you people think of this book, my band director was talking about it all of fourth block and how the indians are gonna take all of our jobs but theyre gonna stay in india and so india is gonna be the next big power, i havent read the book but i really want to, isnt it about how the internet has made the world "flat", meaning you can talk to someone in india just the same as you can talk to someone next door, i would like to hear details on it if anyone has heard of it

P.S. i dont know if this topic is apropriate for this guild but i wanted to know more and i thaught you people might know some because noone in here seems tobe dumb, and if this is not appropriate then you are free to delete it or whatever you do like zap it or somthing(arrest it)

I haven't heard of it. The line "indians are going to take our jobs" makes me think that it's just another piece of crappy right wing nationalistic propagandic s**t, but if it talks about India become the next superpower it might be interesting.

on the other hand, I don't believe that that would happen until after a) the USA has blown over b) China blows over c) the british get over themselves...

And I don't think this is appropriate for the guild, and we should probably move it into the chatterbox, which I will do tomorow. MH?

it has become standard reading for some colleges, like in economic classes or somthing like that

hm.
I'd like to say I'll read it, but I probably won't, unless it suddenly has to do with human rights and economics, which is what I'm studying right now.
