I agree with all of your male castings (especially Jude Law) and Christine & Meg, but I still think Minnie Driver was a perfect Carlotta. <3

I like Johnny Depp as an Erik, but he's not a good enough singer to carry the part of book!Erik. That's what vocal dubs are for. biggrin
If he were still alive I'd be all in favor of Julian Beck for Erik. O.O; He looks the part without any real makeup effects. All you'd need would be to CGI over his nose. Scary.
Minnie Driver was a good Carlotta in the ALW movie, but the problem is that the ALW Carlotta is a comedic part. Not so in the book, where she's more of a serious rival for Christine.
