So when will the nostalgia trip end for WWE fans? Now, ridiculous speculation is running rampant that Degeneration X will reunite (meaning HBK and Triple H). It comes from a s**t-stirring Pay Per View hype in which a FINGER OF SHAME should be given to the person who penned that hype. Why? Because the WWE's plans change often. Reuniting Degeneration X was a bad idea in 2000, a quick bad idea in 2002, and it would be an even worse idea in 2006. Why? Because both Triple H and Shawn Michaels are NOT the same guys they were back in 1997-1998. Both are married, Triple H is a more serious character/wrestler, and Shawn Michaels is a born again Christian. Even if they tried to do their old "d**k jokes", it wouldn't be with the conviction or hilarity that it once was during the late 1990's. Times change and so should the WWE!


BUT, I'm not against HBK and HHH teaming up again. As heels, they could become an incredible duo and HBK would be electric cutting heels as a promo again. See his promos cutting Hogan and Montreal fans for proof of that. In addition, HBK's presence would inspire HHH to wrestle better. However, as I said above, they won't be funny as they were as DX. That act is tired, stale, and obsolete here in 2006. However, EVERYBODY vs. HHH/HBK would produce some killer tag matches and it would be nice to see HBK wrestle the WWE's faces for a change. Then again, both could be faces and I wouldn't have a problem with that because I doubt fans would boo HHH and HBK together. They are established stars, and as the WWE is seeing with Cena feuding with HHH, fans are preferring to cheer the heel, Triple H, than the face, Cena, due to who is the more established name brand.



A funny DX we saw during the late 1990's, we definitely won't see. But I'm all for the pairing!

DX was a great faction when it started, it got annoying when people started leaving and it is just kind of annoying because of of the minor fact that in order to TRULY be DX is to have all it's players in it, we're talking all the f**kin' players even the ones that everyone hates now such as...

the truth is that a DX reunion is almost as bad as a "Nation of Domination" reunion and twice as wakward (yeah that's my word!)

Trips and Shawn hate each other, you seen Shawn get sledged, you seen the HIAC match, you've seen the most awesomest feud in the world wrestling entertainment ring, and you want these two to TAG UP, shells naw!

Hey, wasn't Kane a member of the DX once? lol

Hehe, I remember when X-Pac announced it in the ring with Kane. X-Pac threw away Kane's talking thingymajig and Kane said "Suck it..." in a weird voice, lol.

I know, but it was just funny when Kane said "Suck it."
