I could try to make a crazy background with photoshop filters, but that's about the extent of my 'skills.' Perhaps I could make a background, and then somebody could put something spiffy on top of it?

Yeah, I could do the text, if that's what you're asking. ^^ I know some pretty cool techniques for text in Adobe Photoshop.
