The HQ was destroyed and the time is desperate. There is someone out there trying to hunt all Legends- not caring if they capture them dead or alive. Dare and your Legend meet in secret in a pub to discuss action and potential strategies to save young and old Legends alike.
[Age: Teen. Anything else you need to know, ask in OOC brackets, XD.]

Somehow it was an amusing thought to Neva to be hunted by someone. A tickling sensation ran down her spine as she moved along the port and headed straight towards a small pub at the harbour. It was just like in those movies where the detective met with an attractive woman to handle the world's issues.
Alright, Dare wasn't James Bond and she wasn't some kind of pussycat, but still it felt a bit adventurous. There seemed to be a strange kind of confidence inside her that the one wasn't looking for her. It was almost a security that there wouldn't be such thing as death because of a hunt. Whatever it was, a shattered piece of memory or arrogance, it didn't matter to Neva.
The teenage girl entered the warm smelly pub and moved one strand of long black hair out of her face. If he wasn't there yet, she'd wait five minutes and leave then. Would suit him right...
Her eyes travelled along the ugly faces and barmaids, while her right hand nervously played with her long coat.

Dare is nursing a watered-down soft drink at the bar. His thick soled boot rests on one of the supports of the stool, and his eyes wander around the bar setting. It's difficult to look past the thick and continuous smoke cloud, nevermind the contained heat just about slows everyone's movements down.
He doesn't yet notice Neva. Cupping the glass with his gloved hands, he can feel the eyes of the bartender on him, and purposely pretends that the mirky drink transfixes him. He'd gotten enough stares by arriving unaccompanied and requesting a non-alcoholic drink. He needed his head clear, for one, though his choice may have been a poor one; any attention is bad attention in such a situation as the one the whole of the Legends have found themselves in..
Taking another swig, he casually lifts his olive green eyes toward the bar entrance. Faint relief flashes across his face, and he straightens up slightly, not yet speaking.

(( So it's present tense, alrighty biggrin ))
The people seem to fade out of Neva's view as she recognises the Legend she has been looking for. He is holding a drink in one hand and Neva's mind quickly slips towards the evening when she had a drinking party with her so-called friends. After all they had been three guys she had met in the park a few days before and they had offered her to share and it didn't end up so good.
Anyway her fingers seem to take a rest and let go of the coat as the girl makes her way towards the bar. The expression on the other one's face doesn't tell her much, but this circumstance doesn't surprise Neva any longer. Insecurity in understanding other people's gestures and emotions has always been her companion.
"Evening." Neva mutteres as she sits down close to Dare after removing some specks of dust from the seat. She neither orderes a drink nor takes off her cloak. Her eyes are fixed on Dare in an uncomfortable stare.

[Sorry, ;;. -confuses people often with abnormal writing habits, XD.-]
Dare lifts his eyes briefly, but masks this with a swig of his drink, to create the allusion for any onlookers that he hadn't been expecting anyone. He sets the glass back down noisily.
"D'you make sure you weren't followed..?" he asks lowly, his eyes on the bartender at the opposing end of the bar. He pushes a stray strand of crimson hair from in front of his eyes, but once he tilts his head to look at her, it falls back into place. He doesn't bother with it a second time.

(( Nah, no problem *huggles* ~<3 ))
Neva giggles slightly. Oh how amusing this whole detective thing is, how creepy they all try to be. It seems that she doesn't care about the missing Legends or the danger that might come upon them all. Playing with a black strand of her slightly curly hair she watches Dare.
"Sure." Her voice suddenly becomes very serious and firm. "I climbed over several fences and walked through a shop to come here." The girl's eyes show nothing as seriousity as she talks, although the content sounds quite ridiculous.
"How do we know though...WHAT is actually chasing us ?" Her voice is merely a whisper as she asks and her eyes open in curiousity.

Dare's expression hardens and turns grave at her question. He'd thought about that often since finding the Headquarters in rubble and ash. They could have been watching him then, and ever since then he was never able to shake the feeling that someone is watching.
"We don't," he murmurs plainly, swirling his drink in the glass. "And it's in our best interest to find out who they are before they find us. Our entire families are at risk, and for what?"
With slighted fury, he knocks aside his drink with his knuckles. The glass threatens to spill its contents, but gravity kicks in and the glass settles. Dare goes without speaking for a moment, fixating his stare on his own hands.
Slowly, he lifts his gaze and finds himself looking directly at Neva. His voice is softer, more tender, when he speaks next. "We have to take action, Neva, which is why I turned to you.. when the headquarters.. when it.."
He shakes his head. She would get the point; he doesn't need to review the extent of the disaster. "I lost all lines of communication between Legends and their families. It took a great deal of personal sacrifice to reach even you." His eyes stray briefly, and they cloud over, almost as if they portray that he doesn't want to talk about what sort of sacrifice may have been involved.

Neva mouth is pressed into a tiny shape as she listens to his words. Her eyes try to follow his way of playing with the glass while her mind is whirling and tries not to be knotted like a ball of wool.
Family. Neva certainly isn't one who's always in for family business, but still it was her home and if she was true, she knew that it was something worth saving for. Even if she had lots of quarrels with her mother lately.
A shiver runs down her spine as she sees his aggression. Emotions always make her sick in a strange way. So it appears that she doesn't even listen to his words. The Legend's words are more of a silent monologue than a conversation.
"I was there." The words are plainly spoken without any recognisable emotion, but still ( or even just because of that ) they sound creepy.
Neva studies his expressions and her eyes flick nervously from side to side. She has never been a people person, she has no information about other Legends. "I don't..." understand your choice...
A storm is raging inside of her, but she tries to surpress her doubts of being the right choice for a meeting. She had come, now she has to live with the consequences. "She has to be one of us...it's almost like she can smell us."

Dare doesn't even supress his shock. He does, however, calm himself rather quickly, once the immensity of the current situation is reminded.
"You aren't suggesting.." he trails off, shifting uncomfortably on the bar stool. The bar tender shoots him a glance out of the corner of his eye, but continues to mix drinks. Dare falls short for a few moments and waits until the man is out of earshot before continuing. "As much as I don't want to believe it.. it would explain things."
Massaging his right temple, Dare cranes his neck to look over his shoulder. "We may need to take action sooner than I had planned," he mutters bitterly with a kick to the bar, unheard over the bustle and noise of the pub, which grows busier after every passing minute.

As busy as the place is, the sudden hush that accompanies the entrance of a new figure is noticible. She is covered in a cloak so black it seems to suck the light out of the area immediately surrounding her and while her head is covered by a voluminous hood, the pale sickly color of her skin seems to shine in the darkness - making it seem like her large and predatory amber eyes are staring out of a skull.
It took her no time at all to spot her prey and a wide grin spread acorss her face. The skin stretched funny, like it was pulled too tight over her skull, and it leant the smile a sinister edge as she pulled down her hood.
"Dare," Chandra whispered, the sound carrying over the sudden silence of the place. "I had hoped to save you to the end."
A cold began to spread from around her feet, the floor icing over and the men's eyes freezing open in an expression of shock as it touched them - crawling off the floor and up to their faces.
"If you cooperate, I promise a quick trip to the Land of the Dead." Her grin retreated into seriousness and she held out one delicate white hand to rest on a man's frozen head. It snapped off his neck with ease and rolled onto the floor, his horrified eyes staring blankly at Dare and Neva.

Neva seems to sense Dare's fear as he takes care of not being heard by the bar tender. As he massages his temples she is heavily reminded of her own habit to receive headaches at the worst time.
The girl is about to say something about theory and action as a drizzling feeling runs along her arms and she can feel the goosebumps on her skin. Silence. Dark eyes flicker towards the entrance.
It only takes seconds but for Neva the dark hooded figure's movements seem to be in slow motion. Death is her first thought, but as the stranger pulls down her hood it appears to be some kind of girl. A sick looking one indeed.
As strange as it seems Neva has a glorious feeling of victory inside of her. She just knew it had to be a girl, males would have never been so tricky. I knew it. This thought is the dictating one in her head, but slowly fear trickles into her consciousness.
The girl is whispering. Neva only recognises the mouth movements, but doesn't seem to understand what she's saying. Her eyes are rushing with adrenaline and her hand holds convulsively on to the stool she's sitting on.
She has never seen death before. It is like her self-consciousness shatteres into tiny pieces, but at the same time it arises in a paradox kind of way. The murder, IT, has also come to get her. She isn't useless, she is some kind of special.
Neva shakes her head as the skull drops to the ground and swallows her own spittle. The ice on the ground almost looks like glass...
A high pitched scream escapes the teenagers lips as she starts to tremble. Her past life seems to embrace her in a horrid nightmare. The whole floor is decorated with glass, glass of her heart... Looking down at her chest Neva expects to see a huge hole and blood, but there's nothing but her cloak and the shirt she's wearing.
"No..." She breathes out in a whisper. It's not certain if she's talking to herself or Chandra.

Dare swallows hard as the head makes a gruesome thump on the ground. He draws back out of instinct, but the longstanding ties to Chandra burn through his fears. They were friends once, and even if she doesn't feel the connection now, these sorts of siutations call for the use of every card one has to play.
"Chandra," he says softly, his breath clouding in front of him. He blinks furiously while rising to his feet. "Chandra.. it's not too late to stop this madness.."

The screaming seemed to feed Chandra and she took slow deliberate steps towards the pair of Legends. The floor is slick, but her boots allow her to easily keep her balance.
"This is not madness Dare." She laughs, but it comes out all wrong. Twisted, as if she isn't physically capable of mirth. "Someone giving a bunch of random souls a second chance at Life is madness and I intend to end it and return things to their natural order."
She shifted sideways, half out of her body and into the Land of the Dead. While she was there she could try to manipulate their souls, but she could not protect her physical body.
"I assume neither of you intends to go easily?" The words came out slurred, a sign she was letting go of her body. She shouldn't have given it, but she wanted this to be a challenge.

Neva seems to suck in Dare's words as if they were oxygen. They have to know each other. Her eyes narrow as she watches Chandra move closer and as she takes a deep breath the cold air almost makes her choke.
b***h. She behaves like one of these TV psychos that tell their victims about their intentions before they try to kill them. Isn't she one of them, is she ?
Anger pulses through Neva's veines as Chandra's words come out of her mouth in a very slurred way. Freak. Is she low on batteries or what or is it just a strange power ? Thousands of question whirl through Neva's head as she tries to calm herself down. Unfortunately dealing with strong emotions isn't her best ability and so rage covers her whole mind within seconds.
Her pale hand reaches out for Dare's glass and the desire to see it burst grows within her. Again the vision of glass all over the floor returns and Neva hears the rush of her own blood. "Bloody ******** b***h" She screams and nothing but hate is spilled out of her words as she throws the glass into Chandra's direction. Dare seems to have faded out of her view somehow.
