I think it's okay... for first or second level players. I don't think this is a suitable class, overall, because orcs and goblins are easy enough to kill. Orcs have a CR of... 1/2, and goblins probably have something equivalent to that or less.

At higher levels you could face large numbers of Orcs. You should also check out the monster advancement rules in the Monster Manual, as you can make any creature a higher CR. You can also add a class to an Orc, and levels, making it a thougher opponent. The MM Orc is just the basic, classless, lowly Orc, it is not meant to reflect all Orcs.
This is true of any monster, and becomes very important as your players gain levels.
