I got so many compliments on my dress at prom last Friday. ^.^ I mainly tried to make it look lolita. Lace, and the white fabric had a beautiful design on it. ^.^ I tried to enter it into a lolita website, and they said it wasnt lolita enough, even under EGL. T.T Oh well. I wanted to know if anyone else wore lolita to prom, or tried? I really wanted to wear my lolie hat, but my mom said no, that it covered up my head. T.T

The dress is so pretty, especially the pattern/design on the white fabric.
You're hair looks so nice also.

I agree, it's very nice. I'd like to wear something like that to my prom.
Only, with straps. AT doesn't do strapless.
Um. Perhaps it'd be more EGL if you added a shawl or a ... I'll call it a jacket since I forgot what it's called, but I think it's elegant.

You're hair looks so nice also. I had ringlets/sausage curls, and I loved them so much. I didnt want to brush them out at all! ^.^

I just didnt have one at the time. I have a small lace shoulder wrap, but it's a more cream, and not as white as the stuff on the dress.... it clashed. T.T

I agree. The pattern on the white fabric is great and I love the choker you're wearing too. You look just beautiful!
I hope my prom dress looks just as beautiful. (actually, i'm asking for a lolita dress for my 16th birthday which is this summer...then I could wear it to junior prom! yay! heart )

You look beautiful, but in my eyes thats not lolita nore egl...but thats my opinion. I think if it were to be egl it would need to have a different colour other than white, like a dark red or purple. if it were to be Lolita, the skirt would need to be a lot shroter and poofier...but i can see the influence!!
My dress was a short coctail dress, and that was two years ago as i was getting into Lolita ^^;; (gosh that seems so long ago!!) I wish i had the chance to wear something outrageous...oh well!
like i said, you look very beautiful and glamerous..tho i think a top hat would of looked uber cool ^^

It's a really awesome dress.... @_@;
But it just doesn't evoke an "omg! lolita!" reaction in me. Makes me think of a vampiress.

I giggled. But when I think of Elegant Gothic Lolita, I sometimes think of vampires and their loads of gothic lace. Maybe it's more Gothic Aristocrat....
