im gonna get bashed for this but to me the sadest moment in my suikoden universe was going from 2-3... and then all of the games after... im sorry but 1 and 2 are far and away so much better and so (and i did) when i was playing 3 the first time i cried... sry if i offend you there but thats the ways i sees it and thats the ways i calls homes.

becuase i started on one adn two, and three went in a whole other direction from the original. not to mention i cant stand the three story points, making me have to stop playing when im really getting into it just to find out that i have to get another person all together to the same point, plus the 108 recruitment was bad too (e.g. lardo or whatever the bird guys name is that you have to run around the forest for hours literally trying to get him to join)

Oh, Landis? Sometimes it takes me forever to get him and other times it's actually bearable...
I think two will always be my favorite, but I can see where three is a little annoying. I just HATE playing with Thomas gonk The character art is obviously the best, and I love the plot, but two was the first one I played, so it has that sentimental value for me xD

When Kiba dies. Not so much because I liked Kiba, but that I felt sad for Klaus. He loved his dad, poor guy.

Saddest moment for me had to be Gremio dying. I cried when that happened. The one and only time I have ever cried over a video game.
I really enjoyed Suikoden 3. It was a stand alone in the series. Suikoden 4 totally sucked. I couldn't even beat it. I got to the (Spoiler maybe..?) the ghost ship and beat it and then I couldn't even play it anymore for how bad it was. Suikoden 5 was great and almost has the feel of suikoden 1 and 2.. but I just don't understand how you can have two great games in a row and yet they can't seem to get back to their roots and create another one like it.
