I have decided to compile a list of investments which I see as wise. Follow these if you wish.
Good investments:

Bad invenstments:
G pin - 3.5kg
Store bought items (excluding fairy wings and 'ducky')
Blue Giftbox - 3k
Enchanted Trunk - 1.2k
Really bad Investments:
Gaia 2nd anniversary items
Hockey mask - 250g
Items that cost less than 500g
