Because he was currently in that body? *shrugs* That's just how it is, opportunities presents themselves or there is an opportunitis/manipulator involved. It was, after all, Nadil's ultimate goal to make the dragons', and especially Lykouleon's, lives as miserable as possible. ^^;

why cant he just take cesia's body?
shes a yokai and she has the powers to enhance others if he takes her body wouldnt that just be easier for him?

o.O; Uhm... I don't think he COULD take her body. I mean, we know that Rath and Nadil has a connection. After all, Rath, while yet not in possession of Illuser's body, was IN Nadil's castle, in spirit form, and when Illuser was killed he took the ice demon's body. *shrug* And upon that, Nadil has made Rath a kind of vessle for his soul so that he might not be killed so easily. >.>; Anyone want to compare Rath and Nadil to Harry Potter and Voldemort? XD;;; No, horcruxes aside, I think that after Rath had gotten revival water on himself he, or his body, was more open to possession by Nadil. Cesia might not have been possible for him to possess at all. *shrug* We don't know that, but we can come up with theories and try them out with what knowledge we have.

Upon that we can also add the fact that the Dragon Tribe loves Rath and while they would hate for Cesia to be possessed by Nadil, possessing Rath probably hurt them more because it was a way for Nadil to say to them that they still couldn't protect him from the youkai Lord, or that their protection wasn't (strong) enough. Nadil is quite a good player when it comes to psychological games, I think. He knows how to hurt others and thus he uses it.

XD;; But, perhaps Cesia just didn't have any space for him either? I mean, with THREE versions of herself (the "original"/normal one included) we can only wonder how she manages.

Did that sound like a logical and/or good explanation?
