Hiromi walked in from her classroom, unbuttoning her blazer and throwing it to the bed along with her books. Her Art class was really the only thing she enjoyed. It almost seemed like she could use the pain of her withdrawal, her rape, and her family as a conductor for an artistic talent that she never knew she had. It had become her replacement for drugs, which was just what she needed.
She opened her dorm room door and her blinds, and shut off the light, trying to get all of the indirect light she could, as she pulled out her sketchbook and her colored pencils and began to color in the sketch she had done in art class.

Hiromi put down her sketchbook, and looked at the picture from afar. She liked the coloring. It could use a little more work, but she was satisfied for now.
She sighed contentedly, and walked out into the hallway
