[ Aerin PoV ]
Aerin kicked the ground below him, waiting outside a place he was not entirely used to waiting for a kid.
He was waiting on a beach.
Well, it was less beach and more cove, but still!
He had a hard time believing he'd be meeting another darakieln, another dragon. He tugged on his lemon yellow skirt, and sighed. He wasn't sure if the boy would be coming out of the cove or the beach, so he just took a seat on a large boulder and sent out a strong signal ping to the sea in general, and hoped the boy would pick it up. Just in case, he sent a second and then a third a few minutes apart.
Tal's head appeared out of the water as it became shallow enough for him to walk on.With a quick glance around he notived someone sitting atop a boulder, perhaps the person who he was supposed to meet.He made his way onto the dry sand and walked torwards the boulder, stopping a few steps away to look up at the person atop it."Hello.."[ astra ] Aerin turned at the voice, and waved brightly. "Hi!" he called to the approaching blue figure. The mouse turned to look at him wholly, and was fascinated! He was so...different. He walked towards him, and smiled.
"You must be Tal?" he asks, unsure of himself even though his feed says it is. He jabbed a thumb behind him.
"Uhhmm, the transport is over thataway, but do you want time to like...dry off or something?" [ astra ] Aerin laughed and then squealed a little as water was flung onto him. "Uhm. I don't know. I've got a few towels in the transport, I think."
He shrugged, "I can't really remember though. Oh well! Once we get to the academy you can shower or whatever. You've got a dorm with another kid, but your part is cut up so you can have a pool for a bed, hah!~" He skipped towards the path to the transport disc. "Come on~" he says, and laughs again. [ astra ] Aerin grinned, and bounded up the path to the disc. He pointed to a ten foot by ten foot circular sheet of....something! It hovered, and hummes slightly. Aerin slid onto it, and it changed into a slightly translucent car. "hop on in~!" [ astra ] Arin giggled. "Well, now it's a car! It's safe, I assure you!"
Aerin poked the car a bit, and it revved. "It'll get us to where we're going a lot faster than by normal car~" [ astra ] "The car starting!" Now- hold on tight!~"
and with that, the car was off at a speed faster than it can be described. After several moments of gleeful laughter from Aerin and some worried sounds from Tal, they arrived at the Academy's gate.
"Come on out, it's time to go to your room!~" Aerin said, burbling with gleee. [ astra ] Aerin shrugged. "Beats me! RA gave it to me when I first got employed...other than that uh, I don't know anything about it~"
Aerin pranced towards the gates. "Okay! Time to use your feeed!~" He pointed at the gates with a well manicured hand. "Sennnd your feed ID, zero one two, to that gate and it should slide open for you!~" [ astra ] "oh my chaos, isn't it?! i spend hours just opening and closing my door. it's awesome." he giggled girlishly, and skipped through. he sent a pulse to the main doors as he scampered up, skirt and platform boots hindering him a little. "innn heeere!~" he pranced in, tail whipping about. "Okaaaay! We're going to the right!" Aerin pointed a painted nail at the large archway, and grinned. "after that, you can get into your room just like you opened the gates!" [ astra ] "Yup~ Well, you can DO other stuff with it!~ You can turn in homework and record dreams and thoughts, you can order food and talk to the walls. Well, RA's part of itself that controls the walls anyway."
Aerin scooched to his door. "this is mine! just to the right." it slid open, revealing a room of bright flowers and wallpaper that was just as colourful, and flounced in. [ astra ] Aerin nods. "Yup. The computer that runs this whoooolle place."
in the room are various chairs of all sorts, and Aerin motions for Tal to stay where he is. "Don't come in, I'm just getting something. Then we'll head to your rooms~"
For a few moments, he rummages around, before coming back with a small stack of papers, which he puts in his pocket in his shirt.
He gently herds Tal out, and points to the right. "Come on, to the dorms we go!~" [ astra ] Aerin skipped about, and dragged Tal with him~ "Your room mate is a boy named Guiver, he's a monkey. Nice boy. Your rooooom is right up here!" He gestured to the room, with a large metal three over it. "Just send your id to that, and you're chill!~" [ astra ] Aerin reached out to give the blue boy a quick hug. "Welcome to your new home, Tally!!~" he gently pushed the boy into the room, where there was a large metal barrier on one side of the room, and the sectioned off part was full of water. Aerin quietly snuck back out, leaving the dara to his own devices...
