There isn't going to be a season two, unfortunately.
crying The animators only had a limited story to work with, and they had to close off the anime on a note that wouldn't leave fans rolling around like fish out of water, gasping for a better ending... so they had to change part of the manga that is fundamental to the continuance of the plot. If they made a second season, they'd either have to totally disregard the end of the first season, therefore throwing all continuance to the wind, or they'd have to make the story completely different and ruin Takaya-san's hard work. The anime would end up going in a totally different direction from the manga, and it would be untrue to the creator's original intent.
So, no second season. But there's still more manga to look forward to!
