demonic faery Dreaming2Escape Rent is like the best movie, but it's not as good as the original play version of it. xp AHHHH, I ENVY YOU! crying I've always wanted to watch that... especially since I got a hold of the original script. They removed some songs too (since it'll prolly be rated R if Contact was included). I wish I could go to New York or some other place where they're showing it... but since I live halfway around the world... crying That sucks... I think the play beats the movie anyday. They cut out some of the best songs like Chistmas Bells and On The Street.

demonic faery whatever43 goodJinxie I agree. biggrin "Hey mister! She's my sister." blaugh that is one of my favorite lines in the movie XD one my other favs is"MERRY CHRITMAS BITCHES!!" It's not really my favorite line, but "one pasta with meatless balls" never fails to crack me up. I really don't have a favorite line, now that I think about it. I love "mucho masturbation", not so much for the words (fun words) as for the lovely, almost apologetic look on his face when he says them.

So there may be hope!

LittleAngel13 I cried when Angel died, I cried when Maureen and Joanna broke up. I cried alot during that movie. The songs are addictive! The songs ARE addicting. I can't stress enough. I love the movie/musical!

i have watched it 5 times and i own the soundtrack..i listened to it for a week streight and had the songs stuck in my head for like..3 weeks xD no amout of jrock could get them out...they are just too good! my favorites are La Vie Boheme, Light My Candle, and Tango:Maureen..but i really wanna see the play T.T i heard they were comming to florida...but i'm not sure on that...if anyone could let me know....

I own the Rent movie dvd, I've watched it about....48 times, and I am not exaggerating. I could watch it a million times and I will always cry when Angel dies, I will always laugh when I watch "La Vie Boheme", and I will always say "Awww..." when I watch "I'll Cover You".
I have all of the songs of Rent on my cd player, and I porbably never get tired of it, except "Over the Moon", maybe.
This is quite truly one my favorite movies of all time, and I'm probably going to watch it again after I finish posting this, I haven't seen it in like a month (I'm not sure why).
Sorry if I seem a little obsessed, but I really do love Rent. smile

I cried so much during and after that movie. And movies don't usually affect me that much. I wish I had gotten to see the play.
