KilledbyKarma I had a dream about some girl with black hair and purple eyes standing on a mountain in the southwest US (Arizona area desert) With SO much energy sparking around it was scary. And it was: A) A precog. OR B) A sending from someone/something maybe my spirit gaurdians or something... Because it didn't go away after I woke up... Was the energy sparking around her? How did it not go away when you woke up? Do you mean that your aura was vibrating? If you meant that you felt your aura vibrating in an unusual way or something to that effect, I've had that happen to me twice. I don't really know what it means, though I would think that it would mean that some foreign energies or at play. That would be my guess, though. sweatdrop

i have precog dreams. once i predicted some wierd videogame's final boss in a dream. i woke up and was slightly confsed. i played the game and almost died.
oh, and i had this wierd incident with my psychiatrist. When he was in the middle of talking, i felt a little wave and my head snapped to the waiting room, and out of nowhere i said "mom broke something." it was like i didnt even say it myself. so after the evaluation, we come out of the office and my mom has broken the window shutter of the waiting room to scrap and has the mother-son innocent smile. my psychiatrist started stuttering.

I remember the day i found out that my grandad died. i was late for school because i hadn't got out of bed. I was just about to get up when i heard the phone ring. I knew it was grandma, and that she was going to say something serious about grandad. I answered the phone and i was right. Do precognitive abilities kick in for bad things only, or can you "forsee" good experiences as well?

As far as I know, precognition tends to usually only happen for bad or things that are otherwise deemed as urgent.
Though, one of my friends had a relative(it was either her Grandmother or her Aunt..I don't really remember) who could predict the contents of a wrapped package to a T. Even if she hadn't seen the contents before. Once, she was given a blue housecoat for Christmas and it was all wrapped up and such, and she knew what it was and all the details about it. That's what my friend said.
So, I guess that means that precognition CAN be for "good" things..but that would sorta suck knowing what people got you all of the time.
See, I personally view precognition as a godsend, in that it can save you if it strikes at the right moment. On a darker note, it can also foretell deaths..But, I guess even that can help one to prepare oneself for the death of a loved one..

I think it did help me prepare, but it did suck "knowing" what was going to happen.

0.o *twitches* I've had it once or twice, I don't like it. For like... a year or two I'd freak out two different months 'cause if my dream was right (and I'd had some stupid little thing or two right before) then she was gonna die in one of those two months. Well, I didn't have the date right, but I heard someone else in the family did... but I did get the month, and just when I was starting to think 'okay... maybe it was wrong?'
