Yeah i highly doubt that an intimate relationship between Marhta nad Lionel will arise anytime soon, but i think that they will continue to be in cantact for as long as Martha is Senator.

hmm i wonder what martha was thinking after what lionel told her last episode. i think martha should forgive lionel since it really wasnt so much his fault

I think Martha wants to, but i also don't think that she wants to let her guard down TOO much with him. Especially now that Clark has told her about Jonathon's "warning"

i dont think jor-el has influence on any of lionels thoughts or feelings...jor-el jsut uses lionels body to write messages to clark..

Maybe being used by Jor-El as a vessel jarred his thought proccess. Making him want to be a better person to better himself and mankind.
Or maybe finding out what/who Clark really is made him realise he looked up to Clark and his "hero" complex, so he wants to help Clark and also be called a "hero". Or at least just not the devil.
Two theories... Doesn't mean I beleive them.

I definatly feel like Lionel's intentions have gotten exponentially better. I mean he was willing to put his own son's life on the ine in order to save the human race. I think that Lionel will always have that ruthless side to him, but i also believe that he really has some good in mind for how he is going to handle Clark's secret.

i think that maybe when lionel relized he was being used as a vessel he relized his destiny was too help clark.. i also think that martha also brought out the good lionel in him. and before in a post b4 u said that lionel woudl do somthing as evil as murdering his son to get back control of luthercorp... or somtihng liek that. anyways its not that suprising... lionel also put his own life on he line to save martha..

But Clark will always have his doubts. Lionel is not Jonathon, and Clark just doesn't have the trust he had with his father in Lionel yet, it is going to take a lot for Clark to gain the trust he had in his father with Lionel

Expecially when Lionel had a file on him. I mean Clark really has no choice BUT to trust Lionel at the moment. Does he want to? probly not. But while Clark is in the PZ its all he has to realy on.
