Bodhisattvas should not be worshipped. It's not because they're unworthy, but it's because that would take our attention away from them serving as an example for us to live up to, and diverting it to the bodhisattva themselves.
Generally, it creates a distinction between who is worshipped and who is worshipping, when one should strive to eliminated that distinction altogether. Don't worship the morality of Jesus, live it. Don't worship the divinity of Jesus, see it as an example of how one should live themselves.
Jesus was a wonderful example of how people can live, practicing giving, joyous effort, ethics, patience, concentration, and wisdom. I feel that when you choose, instead, to focus on Jesus as being the Son of God, you deminish his potential as a real saviour. He's effectively turned into something outside of you, to be looked at and to be coveted.
But that's my opinion, and opinions are like assholes. wink In my opinion, no one should be "worshiped", but rather just recognized for doing something important. Jesus should be recognized for, or so they say, introducing love to humanity, as should the Buddha for achieving what we all strive to accomplish.
